The Dream

That night, Eleanor's dream wasn't like her other ones. Normally, if she remembered them, they would be fun. Her family would be in it or she would be doing some thing crazy.

This time it was completely different.

She found herself in a dark room. It was the shape of honey comb. There were no windows and the walls seemed to go up into a black abyss instead of having a roof. There was a soft tint of gold coving everything but it seemed like there was a red grime in the corners. The room was completely empty. So, she had no choice but to go forward into the hallway that had a light that kept moving way steadily. So, move forward is what she did.

Soon, the hallway opened up it was big enough to fit a car in by now. It just so happened as she turned the next corner, there was a golf cart! She was so happy to see it!

She looked around to see if anyone was around but there was no one still.

She went around to the drivers side, stepped up, sat down and turned the key that just happened to have the key in it. She should have known that something was going to happen. Of course, it did.

All of a sudden when she looked up and there he was. This man who was wearing a black, long sleeve, shirt and dark slacks. It seemed like he had loafers on which was odd to her. His head was a werid small peanut shape and bold seeming way to big to be on his small body with short legs and short arms. He had one seriously deformed forhead that looked like elephant skin coming off, but it only party covered one eye because the other one was the size of a lemon. It did not look like he has an eyelid on the one.

"What are you doing?!" He screamed at her as he walked around to the passenger side of the golf cart.

She was frozen and could not move to save her life. He just kept getting closers and closer. Finally, something snapped her back into the reality of the situation.

"GO! GO NOW!" She heard a woman's voice behind her.

That is what made her slam on the gas, making the cart lunge forward. She swerve at the last minute barely missing her attacker. Her heart was beating so hard it was starting to hurt her chest.

"Get back here!" She could hear the man yell, but his voice was disappearing as she continued.

"Good drivin," said the girl in her ear.

Eleanor had almost forgotten about the woman's voice her heard snap her back just in time. Hear it was again. She turned her head to see a blond haired, skinny girl, in leather stiletto boots skinny jeans and corset top climbing over the set to sit next to her.

"Who are you?" She asked the woman as she kept her eyes watching the road and looking at her at the same time. She was doing pretty well to her surprise.

"Well, names Jade. Your welcome for saving you. You know without me you would have been captured for sure. I mean those guys are no joke." Jade said

"Oh, thank you. What are you talking about? What do you mean they are no joke?" Eleanor was really confused. To her understanding, this was just a misshapen man.

"That's no man," Jade laughed," What are this?!"

"You mean, what is this?" Eleanor corrected her.

"No. I mean what are this." Jade said flats

"That makes no sence." Eleanor replied to her.

"Maybe to you. Look it means, something that is so interesting or ridiculously non-understandable to an extreme result of bad language." Jade said as a matter of factly.

"Um, OK then. What are those things?" Eleanor asked her.

"Yargles.

"Excuse me?"

"Yargles." Jade said again.

"OK, so what's the problem with aregles?"

"First, off for the third time, I said, Yar-gles. Ok? Second, when Yargles get real mad they start producing a poison acid what will eat away at your flesh. Well, it eats away at everything really but it burns." She unzipped her boot a little that was half way up the caf of her leg and lifted her pant leg a bit to show me a very deep divit in it. It was scard and heal by now, but still.

"Ouch." Eleanor replied.

"Let me tell you, that was a trip! That's another story for another day though. Keep going straight and don't stop for anything you see." Jade said fixing her clothes and zipping her boots so she could sit back and relax.

"What a werid dream this is." Eleanor said in awe.

Jade turned her head and looked at her. "Who said you were in a dream?"

Eleanor woke up to her alarm clock. She had it set for 5:30am because she had to get ready for school. By now she was in high school and this dream happened so many times she just had gotten used to it. Things, until then, had been quite. There was the normal footsteps and people coming and going but nothing to strange or evil really.

She got out of bed and grabbed her purple towel. She walked through the boiler room past the stairs going upstairs and into the finished bathroom. There she did her normal morning ritual and ended with make-up. Her make-up was always different. Today was a black smoky eye with her pin-straight hair down at her shoulders and her fitted, black, t-shirt with dark jeans and black sneakers. She lived in jeans. She found them comfortable. It was 6:15am by the time she was done. Eleanor went upstairs with her bag she got from her room and found some breakfast; cereal. She ate quickly.

After, it was time to watch for the bus and go. She walked down her long driveway like she did for the past few years now. When she got to the bottom normally she did not turn and look back up but for some reason she did this time. Death and Jade were standing at the top.

BEEEEEEP!

The bus made her wip her body around and get on. She found a seat in the middle, sat down and looking to where she saw Death and Jade. They were gone. She looked at the green mitareal that was in front of her made for the seat that was on the vehicle.

Was that Jade? She thought.
