In Her Mind

A Whole New World

When she woke up, Eleanor was on her back. It didn't hurt, but she was still laying down on the hard ground. She sat up and looked around. It looked like she had fallen into a tunnel that was wet and dark.

"Jade?" She whispered into the tunnel of darkness. It was that kind of darkness that was thick. It was hard to breath. It was black. "Jade?" she tried again. Nothing.

She got to her feet. She knew if she stayed where she was things would get messy. Who knows. So she decided to try and find Jade. I mean Jade brought her here right? She should be able to bring her back to her home.

She started down the long tunnel filled with sharp, hard, funnel looking, objects. She didn't want to cut herself. Seems like someone had because there was a red-copper tint on the end of the pointed part. What made her more nervous was the ones on the ceiling of the tunnel. The tunnel was decent sized, so it could easily house the funnels. The worry was though, they would fall and go right though her. She didn't want to die today.

She continued on going forward. She could only go forward and what seemed like ten years of, what seemed like walking on egg shells, she made it to the exit.

"Wow." Eleanor said, "I'm surpised I didn't see or hear anything in there. Thank goodness. I don't know what I would do if I did in counter something." She wiped her forehead with her arm and took a much needed breath. She had been walking for quite sometime and just the feeling like someone was watching her made her nervous. She didn't like it.

This breath gave her some time to look at the land before her and it was wondrous. Vast forests that were all black and no leaves. They seemed to give off an aura that was like green, lavender purple, and peanut tan-brown. Honestly, it didn't look pleasant. That was to the left bottom near her. She seemed to be next to that.

Her area looked like different caves. Looked like holes after holes of different glowing colors and some not. Never a bright color like yellow or a pretty blue or a soft pink, but dark green or all midnight black, or dark red. She came out of one the color black holes. She thought of holes in the ground then of the holes manga warms make in the skin. She shivered at that thought. To have a maggot eat your skin and live in it makes my skin crawl.

The right bottom of her was a gorge. It had tall walls that had jagged rock all around it. The colors were gray rocks but it seemed to have more to it if you went through the two walls. It was lit at the being with torches. Best guess, she wasn't far off to something being there. Made her feel like she was walking into one of those places that you scream from the other side of the glass, "don't go in there Sally!! Freddy's gonna kill you.'" And she turns to whoever she came with ,because you know this kind of girls do not go anywhere without someone else, and says, "that chick is going to get cut up and you know it sandy."

When she looked to the right of her on the top of that looked like lively greenery it looked like the most beautiful place she had ever seen it was rich with color and was warm and inviting. It was weird. That's ok at least that's one place she can go for later and not have the feeling of death behind her.

Last but not least on the far left side occupying the rest of her vison was a vast castle. It was massive. There were so many towers and she knew that the amount of castle that was in view was not the entire castle it almost looked like it was partially inside a mountain with a river coming down. The river looked glowing around the castle and the mountain going on the other side to where she couldn't see. The castle was dark and spiky looking.
"What is this place. Why is everything so pointy here? Where do I go?" She said out loud. She was lost already and she haven't even started.
"Maybe I can help. I know this place pretty well." Said a voice coming up the side of holes hill. It was Jade.
