Jane's POV★★

I was so nervous when James led me into the palace it was truly amazing.

It was... Huge! I've never seen anything like it.

Suddenly my mind went back a little ways to when James had said that the castle was.... Boring?

So that's how he knew it was! I can't believe it.

I also can't believe I didn't even research this place more than just looking at the pictures the internet provided.

All of a sudden I heard footsteps coming towards us. I looked up and I just couldn't look down. Their was a brown haired boy who wore all black clothes. And except for his brown eyes looked almost identical to James. Were they brothers most likely.

"So, you've finally decided to marry... Are you sure you made the right choice because I don't believe you. And I can't believe dad did. Were you really that desperate to be king?"

Wow I definitely did not like his brother. Does his brother even have friends. Because it seems highly unlikely. Who would want to be friends with him?

" Jane this is my brother Liam. He's kinda rude, and selfish and talks funny and has a"- James stopped right their because Xavier coughed and glared at him kinda funny.

Were his parents gonna be that mean towards a girl like me I hoped not. That wouldn't go very well especially if that didn't agree with his choice. That would be bad.

All of a sudden the doors opened and a man that looked to be fifty or so came out.

He had brown hair just like Liam and James but he had blue eyes just like James. So I guess he was the king, for the time being as I've heard that James will soon be taking over the crown.

"Father" the two brothers seemed to say in unison. I was about to say something when the king stopped me.

"Ah. You must be the American. Jane, is it?"

I nodded and said a polite yes sir.

He welcomed me and put on a big smile, which i don't think he was forcing. He welcomed me with open arms and that's very nice of him to do with a stranger around.

Maybe his mother will accept me.

" What is with the hold up? I've been waiting for ages. Why can't this be just a simple dinner. But no you four just have to make it complicated. Now get in their and eat."

A woman with long brownish hair and grey eyes said as soon as she opened the door. After that speech I don't think she'll accept me into her family.

How am I going to survive.

I don't think I even belong here anymore. I looked over at James and he gave me a reassuring smile. Of course I'll survive, I left my family without even gaining a scratch. And that is a lot to say if you've ever met my family.

I said it once and I'll say it again, you do not want to meet my parents or my brother.

I walked alongside James until we sat down and he sat beside me.

Not soon after we were seated their were people with plates of all sizes coming and laying then down on the really really long table.

Why do they even need this much food? Do they have a secret army that is going to come in and sit with us? Looks like I'm gonna have to get used to this.

I didn't talk much and neither did the king and queen or James and his brother. Which is really weird. It almost seems as if they don't like their mom. But I shouldn't judge, I don't like mine either.
You think they would. But they just don't.

Me and James excused our selves after we finished eating. I sure did have questions but I wasn't exactly sure if I should ask them. It seemed like kind of rude but then again I really wanted them to be answered.

I just don't know if now would be the right time or not.

We walked up the stairs and James took me to a room that looks like it belonged to him. So I assumed it was his room.

∆i think it's time for a little confession time, don't you. I mean come on aren't you guys curious yet???
