As I'm sure some of you are aware, I have decided to put my other book, Justice, on hold so I can focus on this book. What does that mean to you? Well that means this book will move along alot faster as I will be planning to update every week now. (Applause)
Also, only one person voted to decide if I will be including team flare in this story, so we will have team flare.

The gang has finally arrived in Laverre City for Ash's sixth gym badge. Currently Serena has her tablet in one hand and Ash's hand in the other as she is leading everyone down the streets to the Laverre City gym. "You seem to be in more of a rush to get there than I am." Ash chuckled. "I'm such a big fan of Valerie's work, I can't wait to see her newest designs." Serena said. Soon enough they arrived at the gym. Ash walked up to the door and opened the door to see a rather hectic sight. "Grab those racks and bring them." "Where do these go?" "Get that box." Several women were running around crazily gathering things and running off with them. "What's going on?" Asked Korrina, but nobody responded. "They must work for Valerie, look they're wearing some of her designs." Serena observed. "What do you mean I can't have a gym battle today?" This caught Ash's attention so he looked to the sound of the voice to find a boy with dark blue hair, a green shirt, and brown shorts, with his back to Ash, talking to a women at a desk. Upon hearing this Ash ran over, "wait did I hear right that there won't be any gym battles today?" "Yes I'm sorry. As I was saying, we are having an event today and the gym will be closed until tomorrow." The women stated and walked off. "Ash?" Ash recognized the voice and looked at the boy. "Max?" After quickly getting over the shock and sharing a quick bro hug, Ash started asking questions, "How are you? What are you doing here?" "I'm good, I got my first pokemon and decided to start my journey in Kalos and challenge the league." Max responded. Before Ash could ask anymore questions Serena asked him one, "Ash, who's this?" "Oh I'm sorry. Let me introduce you all, Max, these are my friends I'm traveling with that I've met in Kalos. This is Clemont the Lumiose City gym leader, his little sister Bonnie, his girlfriend and Shalour city gym leader Korrina, and this is my girlfriend Serena. Everyone this is my friend Max from the Hoenn region that I've told you about." At first when Bonnie saw Max she thought he was cute, but after she learned who he was she became scared. This fear was proven warranted when she looked over at Clemont and saw an evil smile on his face and a gleam in his eyes. Before she could do or say anything Clemont sprang into action. "Your a keeper. Please take care of my little sister." Clemont said as he went down to one knee and his arms extended to Max. Everyone else except Max and Bonnie busted out laughing, they laughed even more when Clemont used his Apom arm to pick up Bonnie and hold her up in the air beside him as he continued, "You look like a nice young man who could protect and take care of her. And as you can see she's about your age, turning ten in just a few months." "Clemont let me down from here." Bonnie yelled. Clemont lowered her down and retracted his Apom arm, Bonnie then grabbed Clemont by the collar of his shirt and dragged him off with him saying as he was pulled away, "tell me you'll at least think about it."

After the laughter died down Ash looked over to Max and saw an unusual expression on his face. "Max are you ok?" "That was weird. I'm so confused, what just happened?" Ash patted Max on the back, "the short answer is Clemont just asked you to marry his little sister." Now Max looked up to Ash even more confused than before, he did think Bonnie was cute, but he wasn't ready to get married yet. "Don't worry I'll explain everything, but first. Serena, since I can't have my gym battle do you want to do your shopping now?" "Sure. Come on Korrina let's go." Serena said excitedly. "I think I'll pass, shopping isn't really my thing if I don't need something." Korrina responded. "You should really come, I think Valerie has her own bridal line as well." Said Bonnie as she rejoined the group. Korrina then day dreamed for a moment, wedding bells were ringing, Clemont was looking handsome in a Tux, and she was walking down the aisle wearing a beautiful white dress. Korrina then slapped her self back to reality, "I guess it wouldn't hurt just to look." "Great let's go." Said Serena. As the girls started to walk off, Bonnie looked back at Clemont with a mischievous smile as Clemont looked very nervous, then said "it was worth it."
