Which means I haven't planned on writing any more battles, so YAY!

Smoke and dust filled the battle field, hiding the conditions of Magmortar and Charizard. The fans were redirected to blow away the smoke and dust. It didn't even take a minute for both pokemon to he seen.
"Both pokemon are unable to battle. Three pokemon have been eliminated from both trainers teams, we will have a brief intermission as the battle field is changed."
Both Ash and Paul returned their pokemon and thanked them. Then walked over to take a seat and rest.
As they were walking off, Ash noticed Paul looked a little shaky as he walked. Then after Ash sat down he looked over and saw Paul chugging drinks, and devouring food like he hadn't eaten in days.
'It looks like those Z moves take a toll on the trainer as well. Atleast this has bought me some time. I doubt Paul is going to be able to use those for all the remaining battles,' Ash thought to himself.
Pikachu threw a water bottle cap at Ash, breaking him from his thought.
"What?" Ash questioned.
Pikachu then tried to open the mini fridge and failed. Ash opened it and Pikachu rushed in and grabbed a couple of ketchup packets. He then started tearing them open and sucking them dry.
"Don't eat too much buddy, your up next," Ash said with a chuckle.
Pikachu tore himself from the ketchup and smiled at Ash as he sparked his cheeks.
"Don't worry, I can eat a lot more ketchup than what's here and still be ready to battle at my best," Pikachu responded.
Soon the battle field locked in place. It was called a wasteland field, which looked like the Lumiose Badlands with a dried up river bed cutting through it.
Ash and Paul both walked up to their stations. Paul already had his pokeball in his hand. He then pulled his arm back and threw it.
"Donphan, prepare for battle!"
Donphan emerged from the pokeball in the air, and landed as he slammed down onto the field with impressive power.
"Pikachu, I choose you!"
Ash extended his arm and Pikachu ran down it from his shoulder. He then jumped off once at Ash's hand and landed on the battle field with his cheeks sparking.
Everyone throughout the stadium was at the edge of their seats and young girls squealed at the sight of the cute electric rodent take the field. He was seen at every battle, but Ash's battle with Max, but never used till now. Now they wanted to see if this Pikachu could actually battle, or was he just for show. Regardless, he had a type disadvantage, so this was going to be an uphill battle.
"Battle resume."
"Donphan roll out," said Paul.
Donphan leaped forward and rolled into a ball, then sped off as soon as he hit the ground toward Pikachu.
