Chapter 62

AUTHOR'S NOTES:
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, the Kalos league is over, and the Pokemon battles are done. You have no idea how excited I am for that, because now we can progress the storyline. I have been thinking this whole thing up for months, pretty close to when it was decided to add team flare into the story.

I do a lot of scene jumping during the crisis so if you have any suggestions to make the transition more clear, please let me know. I don't have much else to say so let's just get down to business. "ASH!" Serena screamed as Yveltal carried her away.

Ash was beyond furious. He saw Calem riding on Yveltal, which means he's behind this. He turned to Charizard and resumes walking to him.

"Ash where are you going?" Asked Alain.

"Calem is behind this. I going to save Serena and do what I should have done when he used a Malamar to try and take over Serena's brain, kill him," Ash said coldly.

Just then the large screens came on showing a man with red hair.

"Hello people of Kalos. My name is Lysandre, the leader of Team Flare."

Ash stopped upon hearing Team Flare, and remembered Calem was suspected to be working for them. He then looked up at the screen, realizing this was connected.

"This world has become ugly. People and pokemon are everywhere making it all worse. So it is now time to thin the numbers."

Just then a red fifty percent form Zygarde appeared on the screen.

"This is Zygarde, he agrees with us, and will be the instrument of your destruction."

Just then Zygarde glowed red and cried out. Suddenly giant red and black vines started shooting out of the ground everywhere. Pokemon attacked them, but they kept coming, then they stopped.

"Only the strongest of you will survive. They will be lead by Team Flare, and taught how to live in a better way. Oh and as for the young prince."

Ash's eyes widened, Lysandre was specifically talking to him now.

"I have your future princess. Come to me at Prism Tower, we have much to discuss."

The screens then went black with a fancy red F in the middle. Ash was boiling with rage. This man was behind taking Serena, and is the one trying to destroy the world. Ash was going crush him worse than any other organization he faced in the past.

Then out of the corner of his eye, Ash sees Alain walking to his Charizard. Ash is about to speak, be another speaks first.

"Alain," a female voice says urgently.

Alain stops to see an Officer Jenny running to him.

"We need your help. The Lumiose emergency services are being overwhelmed. Were trying to evacuate the city because of the vines, but people are being cut off from the escape routes. We try and break through, but the roots just expand more like were aren't even hurting it. We need help, we need you, the elite four, and gym leaders help," Officer Jenny pleaded.

Alain turned his head and looked at Malva, "your in charge now, you handle this."

Alain started walking towards his charizard again. Ash couldn't believe what he just heard, a champion shrugging off his duties in a crisis, and from the looks of everyone else, they were equally shocked.
