My Little Dragon In The Circus (Ciel X Reader)

Chapter Four: 小さなドラゴン

(I used Japanese, it means chīsana doragon, or little dragon.)

Ciel POV

Her simply nodding scared me. She was clearly not human. But what was she? She didn't have all black nails, they were black and white like her dress. Yet she could have painted them. She was paler than a normal human, a more shade like a demon would be, but even paler than that.

"Rosie?" She looked up at me without saying anything. She looked scared, petrified. And...sad? "You're not human, are you?" She just simply looked away. A tear rolled down her face. I took her face in my hands and turned her face back to me. "Rosie, are you scared that I will hate you because you aren't human?" She nodded. I simply just hugged her tightly to my chest.

I knew that she wasn't human, yet I still loved her. I felt bad for her. "Rosie...I will never hate you." She sniffled. "R-really?" "No, just because you are human doesn't mean that I won't care about you. I've been around people who aren't human for three years now." "Sebastian?" "Yeah...he's a demon." She looked up at me.

"Is that why you wear that eye patch and he wears gloves? You have a contract?" I nodded. She reached up and pulled off my eye patch, exposing the contract symbol. I was afraid she would be sad, or scared. But instead, she gave a small smile. "It's so pretty," she whispered, "I love it."

When she said she loved it, I felt small butterflies in my heart. I was in love with her, and I wanted her to say those words about me. That she loved me. She snuggled into my chest and wrapped her tiny arms around my waist. "Smile?" "Yes?" "What's your real name? I know you weren't a messenger boy, so who are you really?" I sighed. Should I tell her? She already knew about the contract, so it would make sense for her to know my true identity. "Ciel Phantomhive, the head of the Phantomhive estate."

Her head shot up and she quickly got off and bowed down to me. "I'm so sorry, that was no way to act in front of an Earl, especially a way for a lowly peasant like me to act in front of an Earl of such high authority, I-" I stood up and kissed her to make her stop talking. She shouldn't have been talking about herself in such a vulgar way, she was too beautiful for that. (You may fangirl now because I'm fangirling while writing this.)

Reader POV

I was going on and on about how I should have treated him until he kissed me. He actually kissed me! I felt so much love towards him, and he felt it back? Even though he knew I wasn't human, he loved me? I wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around my waist. We stood there kissing until we had to break for air. Even after we stopped, I was breathless. I felt like I couldn't breathe. I stood there staring into his smirking face, suprised and in awe.

"I told you I'd never hate you, I love you too much. And you shouldn't talk about yourself in such a vulgar way." He gently kissed my forehead and pulled me back onto the bed to sit on his lap. We kissed again, but it was gentle and passionate. We had to break for air again. 'Damn air, always needing to separate the good moments.'

He smiled. "Rosie?" "Yes Ciel?" "Do you love me?" I giggled in response and snuggled into his chest. "Of course I do." He wrapped his arms around my waist again, and nuzzled his face into my hair. Then it struck me. If he was Ciel Phantomhive, why was he in the circus? Why did the queen send him? Did they finally figured out what Baron Kelvin was doing? She never agreed to it, but Joker was the first person to care for her, to love her, he loved her like family.

"Ciel?" "Yes?" "Why did the queen send you?" "Eh?" "Why did the queen send you to the circus?" "She believes that the circus is connected to the disappearance of children." I nodded. "I'm sure that is just a coincidence, no one here would do that." She didn't want to lie to him, but she loved Joker like a big brother. He nodded and I snuggled closer to him. 'Please don't find out, it's for your own safety.'
