The sun began to rise while I was sitting in my office filling out paperwork since last night while the others went to sleep until I caught sight of a report about a new guardian who was blighted. Yato. I read what happened and decided to ask around. According to the report, it was from Bishamonten's Blessed Vessel, Kazuma, also known as, Chokki. When the others woke up, I looked for the three main regalias in the shrine, the three primary colours that were the strongest among the others, Akai, Aoi and Kiiroi. They would be the ones to accompany me to Bishamonten's place because she would think of it as an attack if I brought the others.
I found Aoi and Kiiroi at the lake feeding the goldfish bread crusts. They nodded and went to the entrance to wait for me while I searched for Akai. It was going to be difficult because he was always the one to be distant from the others. Before he died, and I turned him into a regalia, he was supposedly the prince of another world that was banished by his evil uncle who coveted the throne and he ended up being defenceless when he arrived and was killed by a terrorist. A sigh escaped my lips as I remembered the vision that flashed in my head when I first touched his weapon form. He was supposed to be the same age as me as well...
A patch of red caught my attention as I approached his figure that was sleeping behind a cherry blossom tree. I sat down until I was about his level and tried to shake him awake but he just grumbled and grabbed my hand and pulled me beside him. Our faces only inches away as he remained asleep. Red stained my face as I struggled to make him let go of my body. Then I caught sight of another one of my regalia, Rose. She noticed me trying to get her attention then slowly tore Akai away from me as I sighed in relief and smacking his head getting him slightly awake then dragging him to the entrance where I saw Aoi and Kiiroi waiting patiently for us. When Akai finally woke up the minute we set foot in Bishamonten's fortress-like home, he noticed the changes in surroundings and immediately understood the situation and prepared for the worst.
Bishamonten then arrived and questioned our appearance. "I wish to speak to the Blessed Vessel, Kazuma," I told her formally. She seemed hesitant at first then brought us to a room where Kazuma was handling large amounts of paperwork and he looked up from his work to see what was going on. "You guys wait outside as well," I told the three intimidating regalias behind me as they joined Bishamonten outside. "Now, Kazuma, you helped in the ablution of the regalia, Yukine, did you not?" I asked him.
"Yes, I did," he replied honestly. "Why?"
"I would like to request you to help me with another ablution," I told him, holding the back of my neck painfully.
"Miss Crystal, is everything alright?" He asked. His words filled with slight suspicion and concern.
"It's just a slight blight," I said calmly even though my actions showed something different as I felt another sting and felt it crawling like fire ants around my back to my arms. 'What on earth is he doing that is causing the blight to spread so fast?' I asked myself as my legs grew limp and the red marks spread to my legs and managed to cover tiny bits of my face. Without realizing, I collapsed onto the carpeted floor breathing shallow breathes as Kazuma called hastily for Bishamonten and the other regalias. 'What on earth are you doing... Kuro?' I exclaimed in my head as I lost all senses in the world and fell unconscious; the smell of smoke filling my head.
