"Liyah. Wake up!"Amaru whispered, shaking his sister awake.
"Whaaaat."She groaned, turning away from her brother.
"Get up! I told you that we were getting up early to do something special for mommy today. So get up, wipe the crust out of your and brush your teeth. I'm leaving in five minutes."Amaru demanded and walked out of the room.
Aaliyah rolled her eyes, but did as her brother said. After all they were saying this was her fault.
She then put on her shoes and followed her brother out to their mother's car.
"I was about to leave you. I said five minutes."
They went to the store and bought everything that their mother likes. Amaru wanted to make her breakfast in bed because he wanted to see his mother's beautiful smile.
"Go make sure momma is still asleep before we start."
"Alright, but if she's not what do you want me to do?"Aaliyah asked.
"Keep her upstairs. Do not let her come out, it has to be a surprise."Amaru smiled and started to put things together.
Aaliyah walked up and peeked in her mother's room to see that she was sure enough still sleeping.
