Chapter-24

Rhiya saw Ashkira was crying silently, her silence was so strongly silent that Rhiya could feel the pain, restlessness, she was standing straight in bowed head, clenched her fist tightly and her lower lip quivered. She was trying hard to act strong, she was trying hard to control her tears.
Meanwhile Rhiya, she herself was confused and clueless, one part of her mind was saying that that voice can't be of aunt Mary whereas the other part was sure it was her because of Ashkira's numb reaction. So without thinking much she gestured Ashkira with her eyes to stay there and with a strange expression she moved two-three steps forward when her eyes stopped at a lady in pure black kurti and it's borders were done in red and was wearing blue jeans and colourful mojaris, her long and dark brown messy hair covered her back  and behind her was a man just the way Ashkira gave the description about Sameer wearing navy blue formal outfit with a combination of white shirt, muscular, calm.

And then her brain started working about why Ashkira was crying and why she was emphasising on Virak's last name so much. It was aunt Mary, her mum and Virak is Ashkira's step brother and the man most probably would be Sameer.

Till then Mary didn't notice them, she directly goes and ask Kalpa about Virak whereas Ashkira didn't have the power to turn back and see her mum and start a conversation . She was blank, she had no idea what to do, whether she should react or not.

Whereas that man goes and introduce himself as Sameer, Virak's father and thanked her, when Mary's eyes goes to Rhiya. "Ru!" She mumbled. And the next thing she saw was Ashkira's back. Again the situation became tensed. Her tensed face became more tauter.

"Oh! M you know her!"  He smiled and  turned his face when he saw Mary's nervous face, slightly wrinkled eyebrows and forehead, her eyes and ears were red Sameer excused him from Rhiya and went to Mary. She mumbles, "Ashu!" and points her finger towards Ashkira's back.
