Chapter-19

Within 25 minutes they reached Pratiksha Hospital and three of them rushed towards the entrance. Ashkira was confused, she didn't know how to manage or what should one do in such situation and out of anxiety she started rubbing her hands and started looking left and right. It was a clear situation of cluelessness for her.They saw the reception area was quite crowdy, which made her impatient, restless.

After repeatedly moving her head from right to left she saw the reception area which was quite crowdy but she kept aside her anxiety and started walking towards the reception area when she hears someone calling her. She turned back to see and saw it was Rhiya and Raghav, her boyfriend and Ashkira's childhood buddy.

"You okay? Where's the boy? How did that happen?"  Rhiya asked her.

Ashkira was tired, she was relieved to see Rhiya and Raghav at the same time she was tensed.
"Raghav take him to the doctor and I seriously have no idea." After saying this she covered her face and starts crying. 

"Ashu shhhh it's  okay. I'm here no? You just sit with Rhiya, talk to her  and let me handle the matter. Alright! and hugged her.

"I'm scared Raghav. If something happens to that boy then?" She says while wiping her tears with her knuckle.

"Arre! Nothing will happen but yes something might happen if we keep on talking like this. So for now you sit with Rhiya and I'm taking that boy with me." He smirked and as soon he started walking the driver interrupted them.

"Madam can I go." He asks Ashkira.

"Talk to me! And why the hell do you think we'll let you go! Firstly, you hit someone and now you are saying that you want to go." Raghav busted out at him.

"You are not going anywhere. You have to stay here orelse we will file FIR to the Police as well as complaint report to Uber Head office." Rhiya shouts from the back.

"Carry him and come with me to the emergency ward." Raghav in a hoarse voice.

"Ashu you sit okay! I'm coming." Rhiya smiled and went.

Ashkira nodded.

It was almost more then thirty minutes but no sign of Rhiya and most importantly Raghav and the boy. She was totally unaware of the situation. So she decided to call Raghav but till then Rhiya emerges from somewhere with two cups of coffee.

"Take it you will feel better.  And tell me what's the matter you are not talking neither you are saying a word. Is everything okay?" Rhiya and Ashkira have been freinds from High School but she never saw Ashkira this helpless so it made her think that something is wrong with her.

"No Ru. not now and thanks for the coffee but I will take it afterwards. Let me call Raghav first." Ashkira tells Rhiya in a low voice.

"You don't need to call him. Few minutes back Raghav called me and he said that the boy is fine. It's taking time because  the doc suggested him for X-RAY. Everything is under control Ashu. They have done the X-RAY part also now they are just waiting for the report. It will take twenty more minutes." Rhiya clarifies her in one breath.

"Everything is fine Rhiya. Seriously I'm okay. And even my mum and dad are also fine." She gave her a weary smile.

Rhiya smiled, "Is that so? If that would be the thing then why did you say your mum and dad are fine? I never asked about your mum and dad! C'mon tell me what's the matter with them?"

Ashkira tells her everything starting from the day when she rang the doorbell and saw her mum crying then Sameer's and her mum's affair, her father's cold reaction after knowing the fact that his wife is in a affair with her childhood love and she has a baby of Sameer also but she was unsure about it as her mum never clarified it and still now she doesn't know why she married my pa instead of him even after they were in love. She is yet to know the real reason.
