NEXT Morning
Sameer was sleeping on the couch. He was still on his formal suit where his shirt's first three buttons were unbuttoned. And he was given a blanket which he used to cover his face perhaps to stop the sunrays, disturbing his sound sleep.Mary was at her room sliding the curtains on the other hand Ashwin went on to see Ashkira as he reaches her room he hears Ashkira requesting someone over the phone, to inform her as soon as they reach Dehradun next week because her parents are going to see her granny who is in critical condition and she doesn't want to go with them so she needs a place to stay.
While she was lying clearly unaware of Ashwin's presence. Ashwin felt heavier because his daughter was lying to someone so that she could get rid of him at the same time he was wondering who it could be. He guessed Ashkira might be talking with Gunu, her childhood friend.
Meanwhile Ashkira understood someone was peeping through the door, she went towards the door silently towards the door and pulled it with a sudden jerk. She twisted her eyebrows, when she found out the peeper was none other than her dad, she hung up the call and started yelling," Bravo! Now you've started spying your daughter also? You know what dad ,Your life would have been much more easier if you had spied your wife instead of spying your daughter!"
"Look at how you talk to your dad! Why were you lying ha about your granny? She died ages ago and now you are using her name to get rid of us." He shouted
" Yes! Pa you caught me, you understand me so well so why can't you just leave me alone. And moreover I doubt whether I'm your and mum's child or someone else's!" She ended her conversation with these harsh words and stormed out of his view.
And he stood there blank, curving his spinal cord, looking down, wiped his tears vigorously which literally made his face red.
He wanted to say YES YOU ARE MY DAUGHTER. YOU ARE THE DAUGHTER OF ASHWIN GUPTA. YOU ARE THE ONE AND ONLY HEIR OF THE GUPTA'S but he couldn't say a single word. And on the other hand Ashkira was so irritated that she started shouting at everyone. First she started with her mum,"Will I get a cup of tea or not?"
And when she saw Sameer was sleeping, she lost her temper. She started calling her mum. Her mum ran towards her, she was wearing a violet kurti and peach color dhoti patiala salwar which was perfectly going with her fair complexion.
She asked," What's the matter Ashu? Why are you shouting?"" Please make him out of my place. It's morning, his time is over now. Tell him to leave! What are you waiting for?"
Ashkira was getting restless."Wait first you have your tea than I'll call him." Her mom replied.
"Screw your tea, I want to sit there so get him out of here. NOW!"
Mary left with no other option she started calling Sameer and after calling him repeatedly he opens his drowsy eyes.
He asks Mary," What happened?"
But as soon his eyes went to Ashkira he understood the matter and without saying anything he wore his blazer reaches for his car keys from the center table, blinks at Mary reassuring that he is with her and without looking at Ashkira nor at Ashwin he went.
