She went little closer and found it out to be a boy of ten or eleven years of age who was rubbing his ankle, his elbow was bleeding terribly, trying hard to get up but was unable.

Ashkira shouted remorsefully at the same time shivering out of nervousness, " Oh my god! you okay! I am so sorry. Le..let me help you!" She went down on her knees and helped him to get up.

And the rain didn't miss any chances to drenched them thoroughly

"Are you mad? Don't you know how to cross the road?" The driver scolded the boy.

"I'm sorry I lost my grip over my bicycle." The kid replied him nervously.

"Bhaiya! What is this? Why are arguing with this kid? We need to take him to the hospital." Ashkira shouted as the rain made it hard to speak in their normal tone.

" Where's my cycle? I've to search my cycle now." by saying this he reluctantly started moving.

"Shhhh shhhh, I'll find your cycle. Okay?" Ashkira tried to calm the kid.

As the driver opened his mouth to say something Ashkira again had to interrupt, "Bhaiya, you made him sit and I will search his cycle."

The driver nodded and carried him whereas Ashkira ran towards the car, opens the rear door and the driver made him sit.
"Bhaiya you start the ignition, I'm coming in a minute."

She then wiped her face with her hand so that she could have a clear vision, moved her head from right to left and then left to right in search of cycle but couldn't find it. The road was clear with a no sign of his bicycle.

Meanwhile the boy shouted from the car pointing towards the footpath, "Didi (sister) it's near the footpath.."

Ashkira then took her heels off and kept it inside the car and ran barefooted towards the cycle, takes it and parked it over the footpath and ran towards her cab and sits with the boy.

"Bhaiya! How long will it take to reach the hospital?" Ashkira asked the driver breathlessly

"Ma'am Pratiksha hospital is the nearest but it's 15 km away."

"Okay Bhaiya take us there only."

"Ma'am, change your destination please."

She changed her destination and it said 20 minutes.
"Bhaiya please hurry up."

"Ma'am, I'm trying my level best to reach there but as you can see it's raining and on top of that the weather is getting foggy."

"Mmm" and turned her head to see that boy. He was quivering out of pain.

"Please drop me home. My mum would be tensed."

"Yah we will after we reach hospital. You don't worry, I personally will leave you and if you want I can talk to your mum and dad also." She passed him a weary smile.

Ashkira takes out her hanky from her purse, uses as it a band and tied it on his elbow to stop bleeding.

*Beep*
*Beep*
Her phone rings. It was Rhiya.
"Ru I'm sorry. I won't be able to attend your party." Ashkira tells her in one breath.

"But you were on your way right so what happened?" Rhiya asked her.

"Long story Ru. Will tell you the day we meet."

"But atleast tell me the reason na! Orelse you've to come." Rhiya forced Ashkira.

"I'm going to the hospital because the cab from which I was coming had hit a boy and now I'm taking him to Pratiksha Hospital."

"What? Are you okay? How the hell your driver hit a boy? Anyway I'll reach there in half an hour."

"No don't everything is fine and I will manage." And after thinking for awhile Ashkira speaks up again, "Hmm..Okay but if anyone calls you just tell them I'm with you. Don't tell them anything. Please." Ashkira knew Rhiya and her stubbornness so once she has decided something she will do that one only.

"Okay.. But for now do you have money?" Rhiya enquired.

"Yes I've pa's card and some cash also. So, I don't think money will not be a issue."

"Okay" and she hung up.
