Chapter 9

I woke up in the room. I almost forgot where I was. I got out of bed. I was still in what I wore yesterday. I got changed quickly then went out. I walked down the hallway. It was quiet. I am not use to that.

"Morning." Mr. Shuster said from the table.

"Morning." I said looking around.

"Do you any breakfast?" He asked.

"Sure. What do you got?" I asked following him into the small kitchen.

"I can make you eggs or pancakes." He said looking in the cumbers.

"What about waffles?" I asked.

"Sorry we don't have any of those but I am going out later. I can get some. Is there anything else special you like to eat?" He said.

"Thanks. I will take a cup of coffee." I said.

"Okay." He said pouring a cup of coffee for me. "All the additives are over there." He pointed in the corner of the canter. I went over and added some vanilla creamer and caramel. Then I added a lot of sugar. I have a sweet tooth.

"Okay. I will just eat a bowl of cereal." I said. He got me bowl and some cereal. We ate breakfast in silent. When we got done with breakfast Mr. Shuester headed out to go shopping.

"Oh before I leave. Here is a key to get into here." He said handing me a key.

"Thanks. I'm probably going to hang out around town. I will text you if I'm late." I told him.

"Okay. Just don't be out late. No later than eleven thirty." He told me.

"Sure. Whatever." I said heading out. I got on my bike and I was on the road. I rode around the town. I was rode to my favorite place to eat the best fast food restraint in town. I parked my bike. Then I walked into Honeys. I walked into the place I had a lot of great memories. It was just like how I last remember it. There was a bell right by the door. You ring it when you had great serves. Well I ring it when I enter and when I leave. I ranged the bell when I entered. I walked up to the canter.

"Hey there." I said. The main behind the canter turned around.

"Are you kidding me?" He said. "Is it really you?" He looked at me confused.

"Yes it is me Mark." I said smiling at him.

"You got to be kidding me? What are you doing here?" He asked me.

"Just got out a couple of weeks ago. I'm here for two years. After I graduate I'm heading home." I told him. "Do I get a hug?"

"Oh yeah." He said coming over to me and giving me a hug. We sat at a table talked. Then my phone went off. Puck's name and picture came up. I looked at it. I pressed ignored.

"Why don't you talk to him?" Mark asked.

"Because I don't want him to know I'm here." I told him looking at my phone. I saw that he left a message. "That is the first time he left a message." I picked up my phone. I looked at it then to Mark.

"Listen to it." He said. I unlocked my phone. I pressed on my message icon. I put it on speaker so Mark could hear it to.

"Noah Puckerman called at two o'clock pm." My phone said. Then Noah's voice came next. "Hey it's me Puck. I know you might not want to talk but I really would like to talk and see you. Call me or text me if you want to. I understand if you don't." The message end. I looked at Mark. I didn't know what to do.

"You should contact him back and see him." Mark said.

"Can I tell him to meet me here?" I asked him.

"Yes. I will act like that will be the first time I saw you for years." He said smiling.

"Okay then I will meet up with him again." I said. Then I text Noah back to him. I told him to meet me at Honeys today for dinner. The text I got back with a sure.

I stayed at Honeys for the rest of the day. When it got near dinner time I started to get nerves. I put on a beanie to hide my hair and so I showed my tattoos. I waited for Noah. Noah finally got there. How I know it was Noah was the bell being rang really load.

"Hey Puck." Mark said. "She is over there." Mark pointed to me at a table.

"Thanks Mark." He said to Mark as he was walking over to me. "Hey stranger." Noah came over to me. I got up and gave him a hug.

"Hey you." I said taking a seat.

"You hungry?" Noah asked me.

"Just a little bit." I told him.

"Hold on then." He said getting up and going to the canter. After a couple of minutes he returned with a tray.

"Here you go. A hamburger for you." He said giving me a hamburger.

"Thanks." I told him. "So is it wanted to talk about?" I looked at him. I took his drink and took a drink from it.

"Hey that's my." He said taking it back.

"If you got me one then I won't have to take yours. Are you going to tell me why you wanted to see me?" I asked him.

"I just wanted to see you." He said.

"I'm leaving tonight." I told him.

"Why?" He said.

"Shorty letting me go home." I told him.

"Really." He said.

"Yeah. I should leave now to get there before it gets late." I say getting up.

"Wait what?" He said going after me.

"Bye Mark. Nice seeing you. Good-bye Noah." I said. I quickly got out of there. I got on my bike and left. The last thing I saw was Noah running out to get me. But I was gone before he could.
