Chapter 5

Okay... I was not expecting that.

His entire office that I spent an entire day cleaning was totally trashed. (A/N what do you think was going on?😏)

My hard work gone to complete waste, after awhile I sighed and said"Mr. Reid?"

"Ms. Downs you're a minute late!"
"Sir I've been standing at the doorway for almost a minute"
"Don't talk back to me!"

I gulped and looked into my bosses piercing blue eyes, how can someones eyes be so beautiful...

"What the hell are you doing?! You have work to do, I'm paying you to work! What are you holding?!"

I so want to throw everything in his face, I put on a obviously fake smile and said in a obnoxiously sweet voice "Breakfast sir"

"Ms. Downs are you bribing me into not firing you?!"
How did I know he was going to say that? At this point I don't care.

"I hate to burst your bubble but I had good intentions, you said you don't have breakfast before coming to the office and I thought you didn't have any today either" annoyance was dripping off every word.

His eyes softened and he cleared his throat "I appreciate the thought but I'm not hungry"

the second he said that his stomach grumbled, I smirked and said "Someone says otherwise"

"May I remind you I'm your boss"
I wanted to retort back, when I got his message, he meant he can fire me.

Damn him!

"Yes sir, I'm sorry sir" I said through gritted teeth.

He smirked and said "good, go check my schedule and for Gods sake get out of my office!"
He just had to bark the last part out.

I rolled my eyes and left his office, I sat down on my office chair and turned on my computer.

I started scheduling his meetings and other affairs, I snickered remembering he told me to arrange another lunch date with his mother.

What a mamma's boy!

After I was finished with that,
I eagerly started reading emails, because I was expecting one from
Olivia Doyle.

Looking through all of them was a piece of cake, the minute you start working for Mr. Reid, things are hard at first, but when you get into the flow of things they're really easy to handle.

When I was almost finished with the emails, I took a break to work on some other tasks so I looked through the files I couldn't finish yesterday due to Mr. Reid's cold, don't hold it against me the guys an asshole, I had to say something to keep his mouth shut.

After I was finished yesterday's work I got back to reading and responding to emails, the minute one particular email came into view, I froze.

Not good!

I hurried my way over to
Mr. Reid's office and opened the door without knocking.

"Mr. Reid! We have a prob-"
The office door opened only to reveal a cleaner trying to tidy up the room.

I thought he said the cleaners were to come in after work hours? I guess he wanted his office clean after trashing it.

"Oh...um...hi, sorry I was looking for Mr. Reid?"
"He just left, I'm pretty sure he went to the I.T department" the man said.
"Thanks"

For some reason something doesn't feel right about that guy, I shook my head and shrugged off the feeling whilst quickly making my way down to see Mr. Reid.
