"The breaker room!? You have got to be kidding me." Ballora gave me a serious look and just by her stare I could tell she wasn't playing. "Ok so where's the breaker room?" My voice was harsh, and you could tell that I found displeasure in this choice.
"It's on the other side of my gallery." Her gallery? Was this just her fancy way of saying her auditorium or was it really an art gallery?
If it is an art gallery then I want to know if she can use a paintbrush with her foot. Although this was the stupidest idea I've ever had.
"Follow me, I will take you to the breaker room," She said abruptly ending my train of thought.
"But we're supposed to be practicing for tomorrow and we don't know what song we're supposed to be singing yet." Bon-bon interrupted with the question that had completely slipped my mind. He was right, we had to perform tomorrow and we didn't even have a performance planed.
"We'll have you play hot cross buns." Ballora chimed in joking while nudging me with her elbow.
"Very funny Ballora, and I'll teach you how to dance to death metal." I remarked back in a playful matter.
"Anyways follow me I will lead you to your room." I followed closely behind her but, not too close to ensure I didn't get hit by her twirling legs. Walking through her gallery was slightly disappointing and, kinda depressing. There was literally nothing in the room except, for a couple of promotional posters of the circus plaza and her show stage.
On the other side of the room laid a door with a poster advertising my performance for tomorrow. I pushed open the large metal door to reveal what laid behind.
A large dark room with massive steel tubes connecting from the ceiling to the floor. There was sparks emitting from one of the tubes near a wooden stage. Other then the occasional sparks flying from broken wires there was not a single light source in the room.
"So she decided to put me in a room that has a fire hazard!?" Bon-bon lightly nodded in return to my comment. For a brief moment there was a scraping sound, like nails on a chalkboard. I covered Bon-bon's ears and surveyed the room looking for a the cause of the sound. Out of the shadows two yellow, menacing, glowing eyes stared at me in return.
Within a second a loud radio static came out of nowhere and the glowing eyes disappeared shortly after.
"Is everything ok?" Ballora chimed in with a sweet voice. I looked around the room one more time before returning an answer.
"Yes I'm fine I  just thought I saw something near the stage." And with a quick glance at Bon-bon, I could tell I wasn't just seeing things. I could tell by the fear in his eyes that he saw it too.
