Chapter 14: The Gold And The Silver

   "So how did the date go?" Bon-bon asked rather excited.
"It went a lot better than I thought it would." I responded in a rather dreamy voice.
   "So did ya tell her?" I nodded lightly in response. He started giggling mischievously at my response for some reason.
   "What's so funny?" I questioned mildly annoyed.
   "Nothin, so did Rachel have to kick you out of the love booth?" Well the dirty little turd. I raised my hand about ready to slap him when I looked to the mini stage in my room only to see the strange yellow eyed figure standing in the darkness.
   I approached the thing slowly unsure if I should run the other way. It held up it's hand as if it was signaling me to stop. I took one more little step forward and then there was an ear piercing crack. On instinct Bon-bon and I both looked down. After a split second the floor gave loose beneath us. I kept falling though what appeared to be pure darkness eventually slamming into a floor. I screamed for a second looking down to see my leg was broken clean off leaving only a few dangling wires. I turned slightly to see the two yellow eyes staring down at me.
"What do you want?" I screamed at the figure. Pure silence other than a distant sound of dripping water.
   "I didn't want anything I just tried to warn you." He must have been referring to the newly made hole in the floor. The figure finally stepped into the light to reveal he had no skin. It looked like an incomplete version of me.
   "But since your here listening now I guess I should introduce myself, I'm Yendo." Yendo? I remember reading a file of an accident causing them to shut the project down.
   "What do you want from me?" The metal skeleton took no time to think about the answer before speaking.
   "I want to help you out of the well." The well? This was a well? It definitely didn't look like one or smell like one. "I've been down here for most of my life but there are  others down here who will kill anyone they catch wandering." I looked around the darkened well, and there wasn't a single exit to be seen.
   "But what about my leg how am I supposed to walk?" The only other option was to limp.
"If you want to get out of here alive I suggest you try to follow me." I turned my head slowly towards Yendo trying not to think about my leg and I gave him a nod. I guess I'm going to have to limp my way out of here.
