"Freddy... FREDDY!" I opened my eyes slowly and everything was blurry. I could make out a white fox above me and it appeared to be... crying. I sat up looking around me. I recognized the architecture, I was in the circus plaza entrance again.
"I thought I lost you!" The fox cried while hugging me.
"What happened to me?" I asked coming to my senses.
"We found you at the bottom of well torn into pieces." Ballora said in response I was starting to remember everything.
"What happened to Bon-bon and the suit?" They all gave me a confused look.
"What suit? there was no suit." Ballora responded. I looked around as if I expected to find something but I didn't.
"As for Bon-bon..." we turned to see Baby walk out of the building "he's gone... for good, they couldn't repair the chip containing his personality." I could feel my eyes starting to water. "If they did repair him, he wouldn't be the same." This was my fault he was my little brother and it was my job to protect him. Because of me Bon-bon is dead.
I stood up quickly walking towards the exit to the plaza.
"Where are you going?" Foxy cried after me.
I looked back trying to hold back the tears and the guilt. I couldn't say anything I turned and walked off out of the plaza.
Out in the country some ways off I strolled up a hill to a tree in the grassy fields. I held a dark oak crate that was outlined with flowers and roses. In the middle laid Bon-bon with a polished bow tie and a his favorite little tuxedo. I set the oak casket down at the base of the tree lighting candles around the edge of the tomb. I sat there staring into the candles watching them burn.
After couple of seconds of standing there Foxy and Ballora strolled up the hill holding flowers. They stopped standing next to me looking at Bon-bon. After hours of silence the candles finally burned out. I placed a special lid over the casket and then buried it. He deserved better than what he got.
We walked back to the plaza where Baby laid sound asleep. I walked into the breaker room locking the door behind me. Thankfully the floor had been redone. There was a loud bang on the door and a sweet voice followed it
"Freddy please open the door." I turned and got on my stage standing in silence. "Listen to me, I know that whatever happened in the well wasn't your fault."I looked down and started to shut down only to hear a couple of last words before I fell asleep.
"Freddy it wasn't your fault." A voice rang out of the darkness
