"Freddy can I ask you something and get an honest answer?" Those words sent a shiver down my spine.
"Yes." I choked out nervously. I'm not sure what I did but it probably wasn't good.
"Why did you jump in front of me just then?" I locked up not knowing how to respond. I was never expecting to be asked a question like that in my life. Then again I never planned to almost get crushed by a clown either.
"Because your my friend and I didn't want you to get hurt." She sighed and I could see the disappointment flood into her eyes. She turned and slowly walked to the door glancing back right before she walked out.
"I'll see you later Freddy." Just like that she was gone. I felt Bon-bon place his hand on my shoulder and speak in a soft, calm voice.
"Freddy don't you think you should tell her how you feel?" I gave him a crazy look and pretend to not know what he was talking about. "Freddy you can't hide this from me I'm connected to you quite literally and anything you feel I also feel, the same applies to your thoughts." He was right I needed to tell Foxy how I felt about her. What if I messed up and she ends up hating me though.
I shifted my glance to be able to look at Bon-bon and then, I noticed he was forming a B with his ears and arms. That was it! I should ask Ballora for some help.
Upon walking in Ballora gallery I could see the employees closing up shop. I walked over to the stage where Ballora stood with her eyes sealed shut.
"Ballora you ok?" It wouldn't have surprised me if she kept her eyes closed to avoid scaring people.
"I'm fine, I'm just trying to get used to moving around without my eyes." That was the most depressing thing she could have possibly said right now. "So what do you need darling." I froze my jaw agape as I struggled to release the words from my voice box.
"Well I need some advice on how to tell Foxy how I feel about her." She opened her eyes and looked at me. Thankful her eyes were no longer mutilated but, they still weren't like they used to be.
"About time!" She giggled. "So did me bugging you finally get you to crack?" I stoped and stared at her as she patiently smiled back. I looked to Bon-bon then back to her.
"Well no it was because we both almost got crushed by a clown." I watched as her eyes went misty.
"A clown?" I nodded lightly. "Did it have no skin or suit other than a face?" I nodded again. How did she manage to guess that so perfectly though. "I have to go do something real quick." She mumbled as she leapt off the stage.
"Ballora!" There she went, my only hope. "What do I tell Foxy?" I yelled at her as she turned the corner hoping she would yell back a response.
"Just tell her exactly how you feel." She yelled back from the main hallway. Well that wasn't exactly too helpful but it was probably the only thing I could do right now.
