Y/n's P.O.V

"NO! Don't try to eat that!" I yell and rushing over to the cart to pull the can of coffee mix out of the small child's mouth. After taking the can away from the Infant, he starts crying.

"shhhh, shhhh, it's gonna be okay!" I coo picking up B/n, his crying only intensifies causing G/n to cry also. But G/n happens to have a great pare of vocal cords in her causing her wails to be much louder than her twin brother.

I hold B/n with one arm and cradle G/n's head with my arm, Slowly rocking all 3 of us side to side. When they don't calm down I look at a mom with her teenager son with a hopeful glance but the lady just shakes her head and walks out of the isle with a horrified face.

Then the music playing in the store changes to some old cringey music. But it happened to be very relaxing. I sigh in relief as the twins quiet down as I sway to the soft hum of the music. The song ends and I give a kiss to each kid on their small heads.

I place B/n back in the cart and continue what I was doing. Oh right.... Diapers. The last pack of diapers that was there was all the way at the back of the top shelf. I stood on the first self on my tippy toes and reached for the blue box but my finger tips only grazed the cardboard.

Then a hand reached out from behind me and grabbed the box. I turned around too see a very dark blue haired man holding out the blue box to me.

"Uh.... Thank you." I say taking the box from him and putting it on the rack below the cart.

"No problem. My name is Gray, What's yours."

"Y/n. Oh! And This is B/n and G/n." I say motioning to the twins.

"GRAY! STOP FLIRTING! WE GOTTA LEAVE!" a pink haired man further down the isle said. A blond girl holding a package of soap glared at him after he said that.

"One Second!" Gray yelled back then turned to me. "So I gotta go now but good luck with your kids!" Gray said as I did an awkward laugh.

"These little trouble makers actually aren't mine. Their my best friends."

"Oh so you're baby sitting?"

"No..... My best friend is no longer with us. So instead of letting her kids go to an orphanage, I decided to adopt them. It's a lot of work but I know that she would have done the same if she was in my shoes!" I say and look at B/n and G/n

"Well if you ever need help taking care of these little guys, you should stop by Fairy Tail. It's close by here." Gray says

"You know maybe I will!" I say with a smile.

*1 month later*

I was sitting at the guild with team Natsu as they talked about these 2 people that were coming over from another guild to visit. Gray also said that he was really close with one dudes. His name was lion I think? Or maybe it was Neon?

I hear a scream and look over to see Freed standing on a bar stool and wildly swinging his sword at B/n and G/n as they crawl towards him. I shoot up and dash over to the twins and pick them up of the ground. Sadly, this wasn't the first-time Freed has freaked out, he especially doesn't like B/n for some reason.

While I was scolding Freed for shoving his sword in a baby's face, the doors opened and some dude walks in and goes over to Gray.

'So that must be Gray's friend.' I think 'He looks familiar.' I look down at G/n who has started squirming to be put down. Then I remember the light blue peach fuzz on top of her and her brothers head.

"Oh, fizzle pops" I whisper. 'That dude is the guy from B/f/n's one-night stand.... and the Dad to B/n and G/n.'

I'm frozen in fear with my eyes wide, feeling like a deer in the head lights as I watch Gray and the light blue haired guy talk.

"Hey you okay?"

"AH! Happy! Don't sneak up on me like that!" Happy puts his paws over his mouth as he tries to conceal his laughter.

"But for real Y/n! What's wrong?" Happy asks looking over my shoulder "Ooo! Is Leon your man candy today in replace of Gray?" My face turns red as Happy snickers at the thought of bring up my crush.

"GRAY-SAMA?????"

"No! Well he is kind of cute but don't tell him I said! No! Just forget I said that! I think I know that Guy."

"Leon? From where?"

"I think he-"

"HEY Y/N! COME OVER HERE!" Gray yells across the room. I give him a smile and a small nod has I take shaky steps to the table.

"Y/n this is Leon. Leon this is Y/n. One of the newest members of the guild." Gray says as me and Leon make an awkward eye contact and smile.

'Guess B/f/n showed him a picture of me during their short-lasted relationship they had after their hook-up, that ended when Leon found out about the twins.'

"Guess I should introduce you to these little fellas too! This is B/n and G/n! Your children! Don't tell me you forgot about B/F/N already!"

"Of course I wouldn't forget about her! I loved her!" Leon busts out.

"Guess you just dropped that love when you found out she was pregnant."

"Can I at least see B/F/N? Where is she?" I take a breath in and stare blankly into his eyes. I feel the salty tears rising to my eyes and turn around and walk off....

I say 'your' because there actually your best friend's but when she died while giving birth and the father from a one night stand (Leon) doesn't want to be apart of the kids, you decide your going to adopt the twins and treat the kids like they were your own!
