3rd person P.O.V
It was October in Fiore, Akira's least favorite time of year. Not because it got cold or that the leaves were falling off the trees. It's because of Halloween. After she joined Fairy Tail with Lucy a while ago, she has learned that Fairy Tail loves Halloween. And every year she was dragged to a party full of bear, melted candy and the 'Spooky, Scary Skeletons' song on repeat.
Much to her demise, Her and Lucy were now walking adjacent to the river on our way to the Halloween party. Lucy, her childhood friend seemed to be walking a lot faster than normal as she quickly went past a group of children.
'I could probably sneak away now and no one would know' Akira thinks and she kicks a rock and looks at the buildings. Trying to keep a mental note of what ones would be fun to draw even though she would end up forgetting. And before she knew it, Lucy and her where standing outside of the Fairy Tail guild decorated in fake cobwebs and Gravestones.
Lucy was about to open the doors but Akira stopped her best friend from doing so.
"Don't open it."
"What? Why not?" Lucy asks taking her hand off the wooden door.
"You'll see" Akira says taking one of her Celestial spirt keys from her pocket and chanting "OPEN! GATE OF THE GRAY WOLF! CANIS LUPUS!" And in a bright flash of silver There stood a 6-foot-tall gray wolf with a prominent snout and sharp iron claws. If you think this is scary, you should see him when it’s a full moon.
"Get ready to slash something Canis. OK?" Akira says and steps up to the door and put her hands flat on the door. She takes a deep breath in and pushes the doors open as she ducks. A table, one half covered in fire and the other in Ice just misses her head and flies right towards Canis's claw and shatters into pieces.
Akira gets up, turns and around and gives a wide smile to Canis "Thanks!" She says as she moves a piece of her blond hair out of her face. Canis returns back to the Celestial Spirt world as Akira and Lucy walk into the guild that’s already trashed and it's not even 9 o'clock'!
Akira takes a quick glace and see many things from last year's party. Beer, Fake skeletons, candy.... Everywhere! There is also a big white sheet handing from the roof above the stage.
'What's that for?' PAkira asks herself and keeps looking around the guild... More beer, already drunk Cana, and a projector? Akira walks over to Mira, who's behind the bar counter that the projector just happens to be sitting on.
"So, how's the bar going Mira?" Akira asks giving Mira a smile then glancing again at the projector to see a scary movie next to it.
"It's going great, even if Cana and Master feel as if it’s a serve-your-own-beer policy."
"I wonder if anyone told them?" Akira says with a small laugh. "What's the projector for?"
"It's for a scary movie! I came up with the idea so I could get couples cowering in fear together! But Master doesn't know that so it's our little secrete. " Mira says with a small squeal of delight.
"Well I'm totally not staying for that part." Akira says giving a nervous look towards the dusty projector.
"Aww! Why not? Wouldn't want Gray to get lonely, now would you?"
"He has Juvia." Akira whispers and put her head in her arms, trying to hide her blush at the thought of Gray."
"I'll give you free access to all the cookies in the guild for a week if you stay." Mira says in a sing-song voice as she starts cleaning another glass.
"Even the double fudge oatmeal ones?" Akira asks peeking one eye out of her arms as the mentioning of cookies as suddenly peeked her interest.
"Even the double fudge oatmeal ones." Mira says with a nod of her head and a kind smile.
"YOU HAVR YOURSELF A DEAL!!" Akria says shooting upright and holding out her hand for a handshake. Mira excepts the handshake as her master plan falls into place.
*Time Skip*
Akira was chatting to Lucy and Cana about her free cookies as she munched on her 9th cookie of the night when Mira announced that the movie would be starting in 10 minutes. People moved tables, chairs and benches closer to the stage to get a better view of the movie. Cana decided to stay in the back and sit by the bar with people like Laxus, Freed and Bickslow. Lucy left me to go cuddle with Natsu and so here I was sitting on top of a table with Romeo asleep on my should and Gray to my right happily munching on a sugar cookie I gave him.
All the lights in the guild go out and the Projector starts to show the title screen to the movie. I don’t know if it was the feeling of Gray putting his arm around me after 'yawning' or the letters that looked as if they were dripping blood that sent a shiver down my spine.
"Are you scared?" Gray whispers after finishing off his cookie.
"A little, I may be good at fighting but when it comes to scary movies I just can't stand strong." Akira says leaning her face a bit closer to hear Gray better as she whispers.
"Don't worry I'm here. Nothing is going to hurt you."
"SHUT UP ICE PRINCESS AND WATCH THE MOVIE OR KISS HER ALREADY!!" Natsu shouts from across the room.
"Maybe I'll listen to Natsu, but only this once." Gray whispers to me just before our lips interlock.
*Extended ending*
*Romeo wakes up from Nastu's yelling and sees Akira and Gray kissing*
Romeo – Yeah... I'm not going to sit with you guys anymore.
