And here we have another Sting one-shot because I'm a Sting fan girl XD

3rd person P.O.V

You, Sting and Lector decided to go on a job and left Rouge in charge of the guild. It was supposed to be a simple, harmless job for some quick cash. You and Lector were there mostly for support because your boyfriend was super protective over you both. He never knew someone could have so much impact on his life like you and Lector. But he knows he could lose both of you any day from what happened with Weisslogia so he tries his best to keep You and Lector happy and safe as best as he can. But on this mission much more was lost than a few hours of the day.

**At the beginning of the day**

"Bye Rouge! Good luck!" You yell as you run out of the noisy guild behind Sting and Lector, waving one hand as a panicking Rouge stood in the middle of what seemed was a war zone. People were fighting and mugs full of who knows what were being pasted about and tables are being chucked across the main hall. Once Sting became master of the guild he let any magic user join. And the newest members happen to be a wild bunch. But they don't compare to Fairy Tail at all!

The town our mission was in was only a 10 minute train ride so we would be back by night time. The job seemed fairly easy. Just defeat a monster hiding out in the wood near a small village and the worst part of the trip would probably be having to comfort a motion sick Sting. You haven't been in Sabertooth very long. You joined with Yukino, and ended up being a backup in the Grand Magic Games.

You've been extremely scared of Jiemma ever since he kicked Yukino out of the guild, terrified that you would have an even worse punishment. Then on the same night after Sting defeated Jiemma you guys ended up running into each other in the hallway and you both happened to have a few stray tears and watery eyes. You tried to mumble an apology but all that came out were whimpers and a small voice crack.

Sting grabbed your hand softly and pulled you into his room that was missing a familiar red haired cat. You sat down on the edge of the bed and soon after Sting laid down next to you with his hands behind his head looking up at the colorless ceiling.

"Why were you crying?" He asked in an inviting voice. His voice a bit raspy but you couldn't tell if it was tiredness or from crying. His question seemed to hit you like a brick. You've definitely gotten closer to Sting since the Grand Magic Games have started but your shared conversations were short lived and about pointless things, so him asking what was wrong shocked to you. It's been a while since you been asked even how was your day and you learned to lock your feelings and emotions inside because no one at Sabertooth saw you as a person with feelings but as an object that can make the guild a bit stronger.

You looked down at your hands, having a hard time deciding if you should open up to the blue eyed boy and having the chance he'll call you weak or if you should just keep your mouth closed and suffer in silence. You gripped your hands together so hard that they started shaking and hung your head low, using your hair to block your face as a new wave of tears came rushing down your face. It was a few seconds of quiet before you took a big gasp if air, some of it getting caught in your own throat.

You felt the bed shift as Sting shot up from his comfortable spot on the hotel bed and going to your aid as the tears flowed like a river and breathing became a struggle. Sting was all to familiar with struggling to breath and the soft shaking that happened when crying. He pulled you into himself and stroked your messy (h/c) hair as a way to tell you he's here for you. He's had a bad night and didn't get any sleep but you've been awake for days because every time you tried sleep since Yukino got kick out, you were greeted with horrible nightmares that Jiemma would beat you senseless then kick you out of the guild. Sabertooth was all you had. No family, no amazing power that everyone wants, no home, no respect, and only one true friend. Some nights you even struggle to find a good reason to live, but something always seems to hold you back from ending it all. More then once have you found that reason to be Sting and Lector.
