guys. i'm having an existential crisis. kind of.
this rant / cry for help (i'm super extra don't mind me) is mostly about my book, "hiraeth". if you've read or are reading it, then this rant is for you bc i need you.
so long story short, i LOVE hazel. but lately i've been looking back @ her book and just realizing i'm not so sure about it. i was so excited to write the book and publish chapters etc when i wrote it i feel like i just rushed through it and kind of didn't do her justice.
also i feel like that's why i was having trouble writing the sequel, it's hard to build on something that doesn't have a solid base.
honestly idk what to do. like i don't want to just delete it, bc i know people are still reading it, and my feels, plus it has a lot of reads 😂...but also i kinda wanna start hazelnut's story off fresh. like i said i just want to write it better and be more original.
buuut if i do rewrite it should i start a whole new book? idk i need advice.
the problem is i would change the book. a lot. but also some of the plot twists, and background would stay the same. so idk if any of you who already read my first version would wanna read it again, just different...catch my drift?
anyways if you have any thoughts or suggestions, pointers or revelations lemme know. sorry for putting u all through this.
