first of all, just look at that smile. my son was just happy to be on earth and it had to go and fufk up his life. *sighs*. i am aware that lots of humans dislike finn, and it's probably for some pretty good reasons, but if i'm telling the truth, when i first started watching the 100 he was my favourite character for the first few episodes...why? i guess he was like kind of the typical 'bad boy', but he was still nice, he stood up for wells and was nice to my mother clarke. plus at the same time bellamy was just prancing around with his hair jelled back acting like a total ass so there wasn't much hope for me there...
ANYWAYS, moving on. finn's death just makes me sad because he was so against violence and was always trying to find different ways to make peace, then he ended up dying because that wasn't possible for him anymore. he literally died for committing a horrible act of violence even though one of his main goals in life was to end violence. it's tragic, really. im not saying he didn't deserve his fate, he murdered 18(?) grounders in cold blood. im just saying it's really sad how things played out.
and i KNOW i'll get hate for this bc everyone loves clexa and bellarke and all that fun stuff (i don't rlly have an opinion on either so don't ask) but i actually loved finn and clarke together. they just cared about each other so much it hurts. (and yeah i know, the whole raven aspect of the love triangle but i'm just ignoring it bc frankly she could do better lets be honest).
i want to point out that finn was a good guy who really did care about the people he loved. he freaking got himself put into lockup (which he knew would end up with him being floated) for raven's happiness. he risked his life numerous times for his friends. he really cared about people even in little ways (i.e. how he found clarke the pencil crayons, made both r & c the necklaces, etc). what a stand up guy (sometimes).
