The truth... Now what do I do?

Chapter 10

                   *Severus Snap*

Hadrian growls, "I, Hadrian James Gaunt, accept Severus Tobias Snap as my submissive and mate for life. I swear to love and cherish him until the day of my death. I will protect him and be there for him as a dominant should."  

I look at my mate shocked, "But you hate me..." Those dark green and red eyes look at me filled with pain, sadness, and regret. He nuzzles into my neck and I let out a soft sigh. "I don't hate you love. I couldn't hate you and I haven't ever hated you. I had to be rude to you so that Albus didn't know anything about my love for you. I couldn't bare it if you were hurt because of me," Hadrian said into my neck. 

I shiver when Hadrian kisses my neck. My mate looks at me and creases my cheek softly, "Why would you think I was going to reject you, my love?"

I look into my mates eyes, my knees go weak when I see nothing but love in his breathtaking green eyes. "That's what Igor told me. A-and you hated m-me. I don't want to lose you just because of my past," I tell Hadrian, my voice filled with shame and my eyes watering. Hadrian's hand drops from my cheek and I look down, 'This is where I lose my mate. He's going to take back his words', I think to myself.

Suddenly I'm swept up in my mate's strong arms and he begins to walk somewhere, caring me bridal style.

We walk out of my office, down the hallway, and into a passage way that i never knew was there. "I'm the lord of Hogwarts and I asked Lady Hogwarts to make a passage way that leads to my personal rooms. It ends across from the portrait of a brown snake, the portrait leads to my personal rooms. You will be staying with me tonight," Hadrian says. 

I lay my head on his chest, allowing myself to relax in my dominant's arms. For a few minutes we just walk in silence. Then I brake it by saying, "Hadrian, Why would you want to be my dominant? I'm sure that marked of yours can make you much happier than I can.."

My mate sighs, "Severus, love, you are my mate. Natalia can not satisfy me completely. It's extremely rare for a veela to have a marked, we feel very protective of them, and they bare our first heir. The only time a marked can be in the same state as our mates is if something happens to our mate or before we mate with them. After we mate with our marked, the attraction for one another goes away, unless something happens to our mate. If you had rejected me or you were killed, then my veela would mark Natalia as my second chance mate. That's only happened twice in our history tho."

At first I thought he only wanted me for satisfaction but then he continued, "You are my mate, Sev. I need you. I love you. I want you. I am yours till the end, my love. Just as I said before, I will cherish you with all my heart. I will protect you and love you until the very end."

I look up at my mate to find him already looking at me, with so much love in his bright green eyes and i blushed, "I love you to Hadrian. I want you to be my dominant. I want you to protect me and praise me. I'm yours no matter the cost. I will stand by your side till the very end my handsome veela."

Hadrian smiles at me and we stand in front of the snake portrait. The brown snaked looked up lazily. "This is my mate Severus Snap and he is allowed in at anytime, without the password, unless he is with someone else, " my mate says to the snake. After a nodded from the snake, Hadrian speaks again, "Lily Ann."

I look up at my dominant as we walk into the nicely decorated living room. Hadrian smiles at me, when he sees my confused look, "Lily Ann Potter, is going to be my daughter's name." "Oh okay Hadrian." 

My mate stands me back on my feet, "Where will I be sleeping tonight? On the couch?" Hadrian growls a little, "No you will be sleeping with me, in my room, in my bed." I blush at the thought of sleeping in the arms of my mate in his room.

Hadrian grabs my hand and we walk to a room. "Severus this is my snake, Draka. Draka this is my mate, Severus, " Hadrian introduces me to a white snake. Draka nods at me before curling back up in front of the fire. My mate hands me a shirt and I look at him, confused. Hadrian chuckles, "Baby, unless you want to sleep in you robes, then you can go to my bathroom and wear my shirt to bed." I blush again, quickly taking my mate's shirt and rushing to his bathroom. 

When I pass Hadrian, he smacks my ass and I hurry my steps as I hear him chuckle. Once inside the bathroom, I look around and find myself in a huge bathroom. There was two sinks, a pool like bath tube, a shower, and a toilet. The pool like bath tube was in the middle of the room, the shower was in a corner and could fit three people in there, and the sinks where beside the shower. 

I snap out of my awe state and pull off my robes and clothes. I leave my boxers on and pull the shirt over my head, the shirt going a little past my lower thighs. I put my robes in the small basket and walk out the see my mate. Hadrian is standing my the window in boxers and a muggle t-shirt. He looks at me and brings me to his bed.

We both lay down and I turn to my mate. "Hadrian, will you kiss me?? Please," I ask. My black eyes meet the green ones of my mate, he brings me close to him and softly kisses me. I put my arms around him and hold him close to me. Moaning slightly when he puts his tongue in my mouth and I suck it slightly. 

Hadrian growls and rolls us over, so he's on top of me. Hadrian's hands cress my sides and i try to get his shit off. 

Suddenly, Hadrian is across the room, leaning against the wall and watching me. I sit up on my elbows and look at him, panting softly, "Hadrian? What is it? Are you ok? Did I do something wrong?"

Pain flashes in my mates eyes before it leaves, Hadrian looks at the floor, "I'm sorry, love. I can't not yet." I watch my mate walk to the door, "I'll be in the living room. Get some sleep, I'll be back later, I promise." Then he was gone. I whimper and get up, to fallow him but Draka stops me, 'Let master Hadrian be for tonight. He is in pain by his past. He will come back when he knows he will not hurt you. Don't try to go to him now, he will only stay away for longer. Give him time and Master will be back to you.'

I look at the albino snake, "How can I understand you? I'm not a Parsel mouth. What do you mean, he's past? What happened, Draka?"

Draka shakes her head, 'I can not tell you of his past, Master will tell you when he's read. As for your understanding me, when Hadrian accepted you as he mate, you where given the chance to understand the snake langue. So that you may understand your mate when he speaks in parsel. He gave you this power so that he may protect you from others that do not speak the snake langue. '

I nodded in understanding before laying back down. "Thanks Draka," I say. I soon fall asleep with my last thought being, 'I will find out about his past soon.'
