I wake up to an empty bed and hearing voices coming from the front rooms. Groaning I get up and put on a a pair of boxers. Not caring about my scars, I walk out of the room with Draka following and see my mate talking with Natalia.
Sev and Talia are talking quietly, drinking tea. I smile at my beloved and best friend, sitting down next to Severus. Natalia smiles at us, as Sev relaxes into me, "I'm glad to see two happy, you both deserve it. And Har-bear, I'm to see you showing off your scars, you shouldn't be ashamed."
I smile at my best friend, "I'm glad to see you happy as well Natalia but I feel bad." I frown, thinking of the fact that my best friend can't ever feel love toward someone or be with another without feeling guilty for it. Severus cuddles to me more feeling my sorrow and Natalia smiles a saddened one at me. I whine softly at the sadness covering my best friend's face.
"It's okay, Hadrian. I know what it means to be your marked, I'm okay with it. My job is taking care of our little one and being there for you when I can be. It's an honor to be a Veela's marked, yes there are cons to it but I'm okay with it," Natalia says to me with a small smile.
"But what if Lily asks why her daddy is happy with her papa but your alone? What if she asks why I 'left' you for her papa? Talia you can't be happy with anyone in a sexual way, you can't love someone else without feeling guilty and it's all my fault. I took your chance at happiness and love when I claimed you as mine without know who or what I was. I don't want to be the reason my best friend is unhappy," I say to the girl I grow up loving and protecting.
I just couldn't come to terms that someone that had been through what she has, couldn't feel love for someone other than our little one.
As those words were said a bright green, silver light surrounded me and Natalia. When the light faded, Natalia was breathing heavy and had a hand over her heart. Me and Severus were by her side in seconds.
"Talia? Are you alright?" Sev asked her. She lends into my touch and smiles, "I'm fine Sev, what happened?" They both looked at me. A small voice in the back of my head started talking, 'You have set Natalia free from being completely bond to you.' I left the side of shirt, to see the mark still there, sighing in relief, I reply.
"My veela says that I set Talia free from being completely bond to me," I repeat what I'm veela said to me. They both get a worried look, Sev speaks first, "what does this mean?"
I allow my veela to take control, 'this means that my little marked can now love someone else, be with someone intimately and not worry about being sick because of it. However, if something is to happy to you, my little submissive, she will still be my second chance mate and I will kill her lover for her to be mine, then the bond shall be restored once more. I will still be connected to her however but not so much that she cant have a lover and be happy.'
They both shiver at his slightly deeper and enchanting voice, but still seem to be able to listen. My Veela smirks at Severus but then looks at Natalia with a saddened look, 'now you can be happy and love someone, there is a price.'
Natalia stands up, starting to pace a little, looking slightly worried, "what's the price?" My veela looks sorrowfully at Natalia's stomach. Starting to think the worst she places her hands on her stomach and steps away from us, "is it something to do with our little one? Not Lily, right!?"
