Chapter 15

                        *Severus Snap*

I wake up to an empty bed, seeing my handsome and naked mate standing near the dresser wearing only a towel. My mates dark black curly hair still dripping in the back, making water drop on his scarred back. When I see 'BURDEN' carved in between his shoulder blades, I have to hold back a whimper. I silently put on my mate's shirt and walk up to my mate's back. I softly trace the carving, feeling my dominant tense up.

"Sev? What are you doing?" Hadrian asks, his voice has a hint of worry and fear in it.

Hadrian turns around and pulls me close to his chest. Holding me close, he nuzzles into my neck, "I love you Sev."

A small sigh leaves me, "I love you to Hadrian, so much." He pulls back and kisses me gently. I place my hands on his chest and see a shine from my right hand. Looking at my right hand, a beautiful ring sits on my ring finger and I let out a gasp.
