It's Lunch now.
Time to talk to Willnia.
I wave to Kennedy---who still stands by her locker---and head off to find Willnia. She should be somewhere around here.
I walk around the corner at the end of the hall and am startled by Willnia yanking me into a hug. "I was looking for you!" she yells.
"I was looking for you, too." I say as she releases me.
"Oh, really? How coincidental!" she replies.
"I have to talk to you about something." I tell her. Her eyes, usually cheery, sadden at my words.
"Well, what about?" she asks less energetically. She clasps her hands together behind her back.
"Um, this will take a lot of explaining. Even then, it probably won't make sense. But, you have to know." I take a deep breath. "So, have you ever noticed that Kennedy kinda looks like Ken, and I kinda look like you?"
"Well, no, I've never thought of it before. But, now that you mention it, I can see the similarities." she responds, pondering every word I say.
"Well, that's because she is Ken, and, well...I'm you."
Her expression changes to one of surprise and disbelief. "What? How could that even...how is that possible?"
"It's possible because Kennedy and I are from the main dimension. Everyone here is just a gender-switched version of their original selves."
"Oh my God..." Willnia breathes, looking away to think.
I pause before breaking the news. "Kennedy and I have to go back to our dimension soon."
"Wait, you're leaving?" she asks, looking back to me with glistening eyes.
"Yeah. I have no choice. But I have a plan." I smile at her, and she begins to look hopeful. "Even though Kennedy doesn't approve of it, I'm going to sneak you with me. You'll get to see who your friends really are, and you'll be there with me."
Willnia beams and wraps her arms around me once again. Her breath is warm next to my ear. "Never leave me."

"Come on, and be very quiet. We aren't supposed to be up here right now." I whisper to Willnia as I enter the science lab. Kennedy won't be here until the second half of Lunch; we decided to use the first half for goodbyes.
Inside, the beaker is waiting, the book on top of it. I approach the table and remove the book, and the portal forms above us.
"That's the Vioval Portal. It's what we'll use to get to the main dimension." I explain briefly, stepping up onto the countertop and reaching down to grab Willnia. She accepts my hand and I pull her up with all my might. I gesture toward the portal. "After you."
Willnia tentatively enters the portal, shivering when her skin comes into contact with it. She completely disappears inside, and I stick my head through after her. She's getting down from the table.
"Just go to that back room and hide under the table until I come and get you." I instruct. Instantly, I remember something, and leave the portal to rush to the back room. I grab a few bags of sour cream and onion Sun Chips and a bottle of water before my head reenters the portal. "And if you get hungry," I toss the food items on the table in the other dimension, "eat those."
Willnia smiles at me as she takes the chips and water. She waves at me before heading in the back room. "See you soon, Willie!"

Now, Kennedy and I stand in the lab together, watching as the portal reforms. The purple watery surface sparkles in the light.
"How'd your talk with Ken, Kylie, and Kaden go?" I ask.
"Surprisingly well. I hinted to Kylie that maybe Ken was interested in her, and encouraged her to pursue him. I just hope it works." Kennedy replies, folding her arms. "What about you and Willnia, huh? Any tears?"
"Nearly, but no. It was sad, admitting I was leaving her and everything. But, it is how it is."
"I told you you'd get over it."
I shrug, trying to hide the fact that I know where she is at this moment.
"Well, we have to go now." Kennedy says, pulling herself up onto the tabletop. I watch her step through the Vioval Portal and follow close behind.
I glance back at the room around me, smiling sadly at it. "I'll miss this place."
Then, I enter the freezing violet abyss, and leave the gender-swapped dimension behind me forever.
