A scene I can never foresee
Gives a promise, a key
Today, our second jubilee
You cry to me freely
Held my hands, down on your right knee
Took the ring, didn't see
A love we promised, you and me
But you threw it in sea
Was left with no apology
I'll move on, be happy
Now, I sat under the old tree
Beaming, drinking coffee
