A scene I can never foresee
Gives a promise, a keyToday, our second jubilee
You cry to me freelyHeld my hands, down on your right knee
Took the ring, didn't seeA love we promised, you and me
But you threw it in seaWas left with no apology
I'll move on, be happyNow, I sat under the old tree
Beaming, drinking coffee
