"Your cousin's been pretty busy.... and having A LOT of fun!.... listen to this list of charges on the bill...."  Cliff says though there is a slight bit of sarcasm in his tone.... he knows full well that Vendetta once again stuck her neck out for yet another unfortunate soul he did always like that girl.... "half a dozen video games, limo rides.... I thought she hated those things!.... Magic Mountain tickets, motorcycle gear it goes on like that.... who was she sticking up for this time?!"  he turns in his chair and looks at Veronica "Leticia Navarro.... a sweet elderly lady who works as a maid for the Echolls family"  she answers "ah!.... that explains it!"  Cliff replies turning back to Keith Veronica smiles and mutters "you have no idea how well!"  Cliff says "though I seriously doubt either of those two would steal from the Echolls to just so they can get a piercing from Putty Tats"  Veronica walks into her dads office she had already seen the list of things bought on the credit cards and was wracking her brain trying to figure out who would do such a thing to begin with when her dad says "it's gotta be the kid Eli Navarro what do they call him?"  Veronica answers "Weevil.... and V would disagree with you dad!.... one he's crushin on V and two he would never let his Abuela take the fall for him"  Cliff and Keith both look at her then Cliff says "Lamb doesn't even believe it's Mrs. Navarro and seemed quite surprised when Ven took her place instead of one of her grandkids.... though he questions it because the P.O. box where the merchandise was sent is in her name plus Mrs. Navarro was wearing a diamond pendant that was purchased with one of the phony cards.... a gift perhaps?!"  Veronica replies "Lamb could have set Weevil up he hates him you know"  Keith says "honey I started picking up Eli Navarro when he was 12"  Veronica says "he just helped me out of a jam recently that's all.... and V trusts him"  Keith's eyes widen once more at the sound of that as he reads inbetween the lines "look I'm sure he's a real mensch but your cousin's in there and I'd like to get her out as soon as possible"  Cliff says as he stands up "we'll dive in thanks Cliff"  Keith says as he shakes Cliff's hand and Cliff walks out of the office "I meant nothing by what I said.... I know you want to get her out as well Veronica"  Cliff says as he passes her Veronica smiles at him and replies "I know thanks Cliff".... Vendetta teases as she gives the man in a white suit a hug "Cliffy!.... to what do I owe the honor of being in your ever humble presence!?!"  she has always considered him a part of her "merry band of misfits" type of family he smiles at her then replies "well.... I am your lawyer and can visit as I please.... I was wondering if there was anything you needed me to do while you're in here?!"  she nods then says "yeah!.... make sure that Veronica sees that Eli doesn't take my place"  he looks at her funny and she tells him "he didn't do this Cliff!.... he's not that heartlessly stupid.... though I have a hunch at who did I don't have any proof.... after all it's common knowledge that Letty works for Logan's family.... so in truth anyone desperate enough to piss them off would do.... or "just needed the money".... after all it isn't like the family can't afford to pay it all back.... and I don't know the rules of credit card fraud.... well credit cards in general.... I've never used one before.... I know better.... cash or nothin man!.... I never want to be found!"  she jokes and he laughs "look I'm fine Cliffy.... they keep me in solitary confinement.... I don't get along with my cell"mates".."  she says he chuckles as she continues "and I have some community service cleaning up garbage by the beach while I'm here.... Uncle K and V will figure it out.... with your help of course.... they always do!"  Cliff laughs then says with a smile "yeah.... they sure do!"  she smiles at him "thanks for visiting Cliffy.... hey you mind doin me one more favor?!"  he replies quickly "sure!.... what is it?!"  she says "check on her for me.... I might believe Jerry but Lambs the Sheriff now and I don't like nor trust him all that much.... people who abuse the badge don't deserve to have it to begin with!"  Cliff smiles then says "will do!.... take care of yourself Ven"  she answers "always do Cliffy!"  they hug one more time and he leaves....
