A few days later Eli and Vendetta take his niece to the school carnival he kneels down to Ofelia's level looking up at her and his girl who is standing at his nieces side with a cute smile on her face "okay you want 50 balloons or some popcorn and ice cream?"  he asks "balloons"   Ofelia answers "you say that now then it's "oh Uncle Eli I'm so hungry".."  he teases in a silly voice tickling the little girls stomach with the tips of his fingers and she chuckles Eli looks up at the man selling the balloons and pays him for one "thanks"  the man says taking the cash Eli stands up taking each of his girls hands into his own the man who is selling the balloons hands Ofelia a pink one saying "here you go"  Vendetta notices Thumper walking toward them and stands in his way "I know your a big "tough guy" with an extremely little friend"  she says as she looks down with a raised eyebrow then she looks up and says darkly "and no brains now scram!.... time for you to see the Wizard Thumps!"   he scurries off she turns to Eli and brushes the growing hair on his head back and forth with the tips of her fingers tilting her head at him as she says "you know, I kinda like this!.... it's so fuzzy and soft!"  he chuckles she takes a step closer to him placing her nose up against his as she says in a soft alluringly teasing tone "you never asked me what I wanted "uncle Eli"!"  he asks with a smile "why!?!.... are you hungry!?!.... would you like a balloon!?!"  she playfully shrugs he chuckles and kisses her then asks "there is that better!?!.... did you get what you wanted!?!"  she replies with a smile "for now!"  he laughs and pulls her closer to him by wrapping his hand around her head and bringing her close giving her another kiss Ofelia looks up at them with a smile Vendetta looks down at her and asks "so!.... what would you like to do first?!"  Ofelia pulls Eli towards one of the rides Vendetta smiles at the two of them and rushes along with them still holding on to his hand.... when they reach Veronica at her snow cone booth Vendetta lets go of Eli's hand and rushes over to it "what!?!.... no free kisses!?!... I came her for kisses not a snow cone!"  Vendetta teases Veronica shakes her head with a smile "why are you shaking your head!?!.... I figured with our "glowing" reputation as the "go around come around" girls you would be running a kissing both!"  she continues to tease Veronica chuckles then asks with a smile "will a hug do?!"  Vendetta replies "yeah!.... that might be better! Eli would either get jealous or want to join in!"  Veronica reaches over her table and gives her cousin a hug "what's this now!?!"  Eli says walking over with Ofelia at his side "I'm guessing I should be grateful we missed the streakfest"  Vendetta says changing the subject and Eli raises an eyebrow at her "so!.... what flavor!?!"  Veronica asks and Vendetta tries to hold in a chuckle but it comes out anyway "oh stop it you!"  Veronica teases slapping her shoulder "I can't it's just so tempting to....! I mean.... I  just came to see how you were faring and if you needed anything.... but I should go before I get myself in trouble"  Vendetta says she shrugs with a smile then says "if you need me to take over V.... we'll be here most if not all day so what's the phrase "drop me a ring" or somethin along those lines?!.... I have no idea! I'm not "cool" enough for the "cool people".."  Ofelia replies with a smile "you're cool enough to me!"  Vendetta says giving her a hug "aww thanks O!"  Veronica smiles Eli buys himself and his girls a snow cone from Veronica then they leave with a smile and a wave to go enjoy the rest of the carnival....
