Ball

Ban's POV:

After school we all gathered at the large field owned by the headmaster. We met there but a load of people showed up to watch. Apparently word got out of this and everyone wanted to watch.

"Someone is gonna get hurt if they stay" Meliodas mumbled

"I think they just want to see how far you can throw it" Elizabeth giggled.

"Alright they can watch this one" Meliodas called making the crowd excited.

"But if you get hurt it's not my fault" Meliodas warned. They all nodded and I tossed Meliodas one of the tennis balls.

"Ready Meliodas?" King asked. He nodded and turned away from where everyone was standing. I was so excited to see the how far it could go. Meliodas threw the ball in the air then caught it. He looked over to the other side of the field and threw it! It went really far aswell! So far that it wasn't even in view anymore! He turned to look at us and smiled.

"How far is that gonna go?" King asked

"Well I haven't really practiced in a few years so only about two or three miles" Meliodas explained

"How far could you throw it if you tried your hardest?" Diane asked

"Hmm I'm not sure actually. Probably about a few hundred maybe" Meliodas chuckled

"WHAT?!" I exclaimed. Meliodas just laughed at my reaction. The bystanders left talking about how cool Meliodas is. He wasn't looked so I smirked. I quickly grabbed a ball and threw it at him. He caught it and looked at me.

"That was too predictable Ban" he chuckled

"Sorry" I apologised

"It's fine but next time try when you think I won't be expecting it, like this" he threw the ball at King who wasn't paying attention. It hit him on the head and he moaned.

"Ow!" He moaned

"See, like that"

"Got it!" I exclaimed

We started throwing the ball back and forth while Meliodas tried to teach me how to throw it really far. We were taking a break when we looked at Meliodas. He had the ball and was throwing it up in the air and catching it. He looked over at the other end of the field and threw it. It went really far and by the look and his face he didn't mean to.

"Shit! I didn't mean to throw it that hard!" He exclaimed. We looked and saw a small girl standing where the ball was heading. Meliodas realised and we looked at him in panic.

He activated his powers and two black tainted wings appeared. We only saw them for like a second because the next thing we knew Meliodas already stopped the ball. He made sure the girl was alright then walked back over to us.

When he joined us we couldn't stop staring. He knew we had questions but I don't think he wants to answer them. We watched as he put the ball back and just stood there.

"You have questions I can tell" he mumbled. We looked at eachother and knew what had to be done. We weren't going to ask him.

"Yes but we won't ask" I explained. He sighed in relief but saw our faces.

"I guess you could have one" he mumbled looked away

Even though I really wanted to know what he did, I don't want to ask and him have to tell us things he doesn't want to.

"Okay, what did you do?" King asked earning a elbow to the side by Diane.

"I stopped the ball" Meliodas chuckled

"No, I mean how did you, ya know" King started but trailed off

"Oh. You want to know how I stopped it" Meliodas sighed

"Yeah but you don't have to" King added. Meliodas just chuckled making us shocked.

"Isn't it obvious? I caught it" he teased

"We want to know how you got over there so quick when you were here like a second before" Diane giggled. Meliodas obviously didn't want to answer so he stayed silent.

"D-don't answer that Meliodas. I want to know if you were part of a baseball team!" Elizabeth changed the subject. Meliodas looked relieved to not have to answer it.

"I was"

"You aren't now?" I asked

"No. Not after I-- nevermind" Meliodas shook his head.

"Anyway what do you want to do?" He asked

We agreed to go back to his and when we got there we watched a movie. We were watching and talking when Meliodas flinched.

"What's the ma---" he cut me off

"Shh" he turned his head towards the window. The next thing we knew he was standing outside arguing with someone so we decided to go find out what was going on. We went out and saw a guy sitting on the floor with a camera around his neck. He looked like he'd been ran over or something. He looked worse then Howzer did!

"When will you leave me alone?" Meliodas asked sarcastically

"Wait who is this guy?" Diane asked

"No idea he just keeps coming back and it's starting to get annoying"

"Is that why he looks dead?" King sighed

"You can't blame me for it. He had it coming" Meliodas mumbled childishly.

"What do you want with Meliodas?" I asked

"L-look man, I-it's my job! H-his father made me do it!" The camera man confessed. Something in Meliodas snapped and he seemed angrier.

"That good for nothing son of a--" Elizabeth cut Meliodas off by putting her hand on his shoulder.

"What do you wanna do with him Meliodas?" King asked

"Wait, I know you. Your Amon aren't you?" Meliodas looked him straight in the eyes and the boy gulped.

"Y-yes"

"In that case"

Meliodas was gone. A gust of wind surrounded us as he vanished. Did he use them wings again? A few minutes later he returned behind us without the boy. We turned round and looked at him. He smiled and motioned for us to go back inside.

"What did you do with him?" Elizabeth asked

"Not alot. I just told him to leave me alone and that if my father wants me he'll have to come get me" Meliodas chuckled

We continued watching the movie until Elizabeth noticed something on the cabinet.
