What Happened?

Ban's POV:

Meliodas went up to bed but I stayed up for a bit. He said I could put a movie on or something so did. During the movie I looked around the room for anything that could tell me more about him. I couldn't find anything. He really is good at keeping secrets.

It was normal until I felt a rush of panic. I felt that something was wrong. I don't know what it was but something didn't feel right. I immediately went to check on Meliodas. I ran up and saw him asleep on his bed. It looked like he was having a nightmare or something because I could see the pain on his face.

He was gripping the bed sheets and sweating. I noticed that his hands had black markings on them. What were they?

He quickly sat up and caught his breath. He didn't notice me though. He looked at his hands and the black markings. They started to dissappear and he looked at me.

"It happened again" he mumbled

"Are you okay?" I asked concerned for him

"I'm fine. This has been happening for the last few weeks" he explained getting up. We walked downstairs and he made a drink. He sat on the counter and I was talking to him.

"So what happened?" I asked

"I umm can't tell you everything but I can tell you the basics"

"Okay, don't tell me anything if your not comfortable with it"

"Well this has been happening alot for the past few weeks, it's just my powers acting up I guess"

He avoided eye contact with me so I knew he was lying. I didn't push him though.

"Will you be alright?"

"Huh? Oh yeah I'll be alright, it should stop in a few weeks"

"Good! I don't want you getting hurt or anything"

He chuckled at me. We stayed awake for a bit talking until we both went to bed.

Elizabeth's POV:

When I got to school the next day, all the sins were there and so was Meliodas. He was looking out the window again but was writing something in his text book. I have no idea what it said though. Did he even know he was doing it?

The sins noticed me and came over.

"What's up with him?" I asked

"Dunno, he's been acting weird all morning" Ban explained

"Really? Have you tried asking him?" I looked over at him

"No way! If he's annoyed or upset I don't want to die!" King exclaimed

"I'm sure it's nothing, after all he seems to like us" Diane giggled

"Let's talk to him after class" I mumbled. We sat down but we all kept looking at him. Sir Griamore noticed Meliodas and asked us what was wrong with him. We told him what we knew and he started the class. Obviously he didn't care that Meliodas wasn't paying attention to anything. Something is clearly bothering him. I wonder what it is.

Class ended and we went over to him. The rest of the class left so it was just us.

"Meliodas" Diane called. He didn't answer. Ban tapped him on the shoulder and he came back to reality. He immediatly grabbed Ban's arm and twisted it backwards almost breaking the bone. He realised it was us and quickly let go.

"Sorry" he mumbled

"That was some awesome reflexes!" Ban exclaimed

"Why did you react like that?" Diane asked making him shrug.

"Habbit" he stated

"Anyway class is over" I giggled. I looked at his book and saw one word written all over the page.

"It has?" Meliodas asked

"Yeah you were completely zoned out though but Griamore didn't care" Ban explained

"Can you explain that?" Diane pointed at the book. Meliodas looked at it and froze realising what word he wrote. He ripped the page out and crunched it into a ball.

"Out of all the names I had to pick why did it be that one?" He mumbled

"Who is it?" King asked

"No one important" he smiled at us.

Somethings not right. It's like he's upset that he wrote that name but who was it?

We left the class and headed out to the table we sat at during break. Meliodas was talking to us but he seemed distracted.

He was looking at Ban who was sat to his right when a tennis ball came hurdling towards him. It was so fast it was barely visible! It was about to hit him when he caught it! How!? He wasn't even looking!

He made the ball go up in black flames and turned to look at the person who threw it. It was the person who thought he was the best troublemaker. He was before Meliodas joined. He's been here less than a week but the entire school already know him and to stay clear of him. He has the school at his feet and everyone knows he's not to be messed with. Even the teachers fear him.

He gulped nervous at what was going to happen. The sins wouldn't stop looking at Meliodas confused. Meliodas turned his hand making the dust of the ball fall off his hand.

He turned back to us like nothing happened even though the entire school was watching him.

"What?" He asked

"Why aren't you bothered that he threw a ball at you?" King asked

"Should I be?"

"Well I guess not but how did you catch it? You weren't even looking!" Diane exclaimed

"Well I've got good reflexes. I thought you could've guessed that" Meliodas explained

"Why arent you bothered though?" Ban asked

"A ball is nothing compared to a brick" Meliodas mumbled

"A brick was thrown at you?" I asked

"Yeah but it had the same fate as the ball" Meliodas chuckled

"Woah! That's so cool!" Ban exclaimed

"It's not that cool" Meliodas rolled his eyes

"I've never seen someone who could react that fast! Especially when it was at that speed!" King gasped

"That was fast?" Meliodas asked

"Uhh yeah! They're part of the baseball team and are know for holding the record of the fastest thrown ball!" I giggled

"Really? I could probably do it faster without trying" Meliodas mumbled

"Can we try after school?" Ban asked clearly excited

"If you want" Meliodas chuckled

"This is amazing!" Ban exclaimed
