***Terra's P.O.V.***
The world is a terrible place.
I wish I could live in my dreams where I control everything that happens, and who's in it. The reason behind everyone's actions won't matter because I made them do it in the first place.
Actually, my dream world would probably be made of chocolate and marshmallows, and then everyone would gain so much weight in every new dream. Maybe living in my dreams wouldn't be the ideal thing after all, but it would be a whole lot better than reality at the moment.
Terra.
Great. Even my subconscious is bothering me. I can't have any peace and quiet anymore. I swear, when all of this is over, I'm moving to a deserted island where a crab will become my new best friend.
Terra!
Go away!
"Terra, wake up!" The voice is soft, and it feels like I'm hearing them from underwater. I groan softly in response. "Come on." Someone starts shaking me, and I manage to pry my eyes open, though my vision is fuzzy from being knocked out.
"Who-" I'm cut off when a hand, I think it's a hand, is placed over my mouth the silence me. I wait for the person to say something else, but they don't. After a few more moments, my eyes adjust to the darkness.
"I shouldn't be doing this." He mutters, removing his hand from my face and offering it to me to help me off the bed. I quickly wipe my face, feeling disgusted at the crusty feeling left behind by my tears, before taking it.
"What are you doing here?" I ask, hating how raw my voice sounds from all of my crying.
"I'm taking you to see your mate." Skye whispers, slipping his arm around my shoulders to help support me. The drug he gave me early are lingering in my limbs, making it difficult to function.
"Why?" I ask as he walks me through the bedroom door and into my "living room".
"Because something isn't right about this. We don't think your mate is guilty and if what you claim is true, then it's definitely not possible." One word sticks out from his sentence.
"We?" Just then, the door leading to the hallway opens and in walk my brothers. Yeah, both of them are sneaking into my room at who knows what time to help me. I knew I loved them for a reason.
"Hey sis." Cam offers me a small smile, which tells me what I already know. I look like crap.
"You said we're going to see Aaron. How? There are guards everywhere." My siblings share a knowing look. "What?"
"Don't worry about the guards. Lets get you to your mate and then we'll discuss the possibilities of a setup." I nod and stumble as I try to move forward.
"What the hell did you give me?" I ask Skye, sending him an accusing glare and pressing my hand to my pounding head. He smiles sheepishly at his feet.
"Sorry. I tried to cut the dose so you'd wake up earlier, but I didn't get it quite right. In my defense, I'm not a doctor." I roll my eyes, but smile none the less.
Believe it or not, a happy feeling settles in my stomach. I'm going to see Aaron. My wolf perks up and reappears at the mention of seeing her mate. We both miss him like crazy and it hasn't even been twenty-four hours. It's all because of the guys in my life. I don't know what I would do without them.
We aren't walking long before I realize where we're headed.
"Why are we-" I'm cut off by three sharp glares. I lower my voice. "Why are we going to the library?"
