"I'm thinking we should watch a comedy tonight." Aaron and I are headed back to my room. Thank god too because I need to unwind. The past few days have been the most stressful days of my life and I heard from a reliable source that he fixed my wall.
"Just the two of us?" Aaron asks, lacing our fingers together. I smile up at him, catching the suggestive undertone in his voice.
"Yup." I pop the 'p'. "I have a bunch of movies to pick from, but if I don't happen to have anything that sounds good, we can buy it on Netflix." I hear my mate chuckle before he wraps his arms around my waist and lifts me easily off the ground. I grip his arms and laugh.
"Does the movie actually matter?" He asks, nipping at my earlobe from behind. I bite my lip and look at the security camera, trained on the two of us, located on the ceiling.
"Aaron, the cameras." I mumble and he sighs before reluctantly setting me back on my feet.
"Blasted technology." I laugh quietly before pushing open my bedroom door. Being distracted with one another, the huge castle seems a little smaller, and the walk from place to place is shorter.
"We'll have plenty of-" I stop talking as I catch the scent of some... unexpected people in my room. I frown and flip on the lights. Aaron moves protectively in front of me, and I roll my eyes. "There's no danger you big lug." I walk into my lounge area and see a couple of people on my comfortable couch.
"Finally!" Emma exclaims. "We've been wondering when you were coming back."
"Yeah. We were thinking about having a movie night tonight." Ember states, excitedly gesturing to the many blankets, pillows, movies and bowl of freshly popped popcorn sitting around. From how much stuff they have, I'm guessing more people will be showing up later.
My best friends continue to talk about all the choices to pick from to watch and how they're excited to have the girls back together.
"I was planning on watching a movie." I finally reply, interrupting their separate speeches. "Just let me change." I hurry into my room, that only has one door now that the hole is fixed, to change into my pajamas. We always end up falling asleep during a movie that we put in late in the night, and I'd like to be ready for bed beforehand.
"Awesome! We can watch one together!" My friend says, sounding happy. I glance at Aaron to see him frowning and following quietly behind me.
~Why do you look like someone ran over your cat? You know, if you had one.
I feel like I haven't really gotten any alone time with you since we've gotten here.
I shut my bedroom door behind the two of us and find myself immediately in his arms. He kisses me fully on the lips, and I smile against his mouth.
"I left a lot of people behind when I ran away. They're happy to see me." I answer, laying my head on his chest. "And I missed them, but I admit I could use some quiet time."
"Sometimes I wish you weren't so popular." He grumbles, resting his chin on top of my head. "But I wouldn't change anything about you." I kiss his shoulder and feel him shudder. "And I hardly think time with you would be quiet."
"Thanks." My reply is somewhat sarcastic, but I can tell he hears the sincerity behind my words as well.
"Anytime." He smiles down at me before giving me a small push in the direction of my closet. "Better get changed before you have an angry mob looking for you." He jokes, but I know my friends. They will come looking for me if I take too long. Nosey bitches... and I mean it in the nicest ways.
