Tina was never really sure about anything, especially her looks, sure she had a few days where she felt pretty, but she could never really accept the fact that someone could ever think she was pretty let alone beautiful.

Tina always struggled with her self-confidence, so growing up she changed her style all the time, because she was embarrassed to express her real feelings. She even went through a faze in the summer where she only wore rain boots, (remember this for future reference *cough cough wink wink in a song*)

You see, Tina has anxiety, and that caused her to fake a stutter, no one ever knew she was faking it, they thought she just grew out of it. In reality, she was just sick of pushing people away, she decided it was time to face the world. Except it was a but discouraging when not one person noticed her stutter was gone, until a year and a half later, because one of her teachers noticed.

But still no one truly knew the reason for her stutter, except one person. Her best friend.

Tina and Mike still run together every morning, study together at least 3 times a week, and hang out basically everyday.

They know more about each other than anyone else does, whether it is important or not, they know it. They are each others best friend.

Jenna had noticed hie close the two had become, and she was honestly really happy for them. But she was also a very impatient person. So why not settle the reason for her being impatient. And why not get Tina in on the plan as well.

Mike was studying with Tina in the kitchen, when Tina excused herself to go to the bathroom, and Jenna walked in.

"Hey Mikey, cousin dearest, what's up?" "Um nothing you don't already know about. Anything new with you Jen?" "Nope, now cut the crud, and tell me." "Tell you what exactly?" "Don't play stupid with me Chang." "I'm not . Chang." "Fine. I will spell it out for you. Do-You-Like-Tina?"

Tina who was hiding behind the door to hear Mike's response, took in a sharp breath.

Mike was completely taken aback by the question, even though he knew he should've been expecting it. "Yes, I do like Tina. And before you ask, yes I mean more than a friend. But. I do not think she likes me, so please stop squealing."

Tina let put a breath she didn't realize she was holding.

"Boy are you blind. That girl stared at you all day, you would think you would notice, because all you ever do is stare at her. But since I am your favorite cousin, I will help you out. Just ask her out and then let me know what happens."

With that Jenna walked out the door, and before Mike could even take a breath, to steady his heart rate, Tina walked back into the kitchen.

Just get it out of the way Mike, do it. Do it. Do it.

"Hey Tina?" "Yeah?" "I was wondering..."

Tina's Pov

Do you wanna go on a date with me or something?

Omg he just asked me out!! I have been waiting for this, I thought he didn't like me.

"I would love to. When were you thinking?"
"How about tomorrow night at like 5 I will pick you up?"
"Okay! Sounds great! What should I wear?"
"Umm fancy, but not too fancy, if you know what I mean?"
"Ill figure something out, can't wait!"
