Chapter 12

Tina had said she would be home in 20 mins about an hour ago, so Mike was starting to worry something might have happened. What if her car broke down and her phone died and she is just stuck on the side of the road? So Mike decided to go look for her, make sure she was okay. As he got in the car, the radio was on as background noise, and he heard "accident on 47th street" that road happened to be on the way to the store so he figured maybe Tina is just stuck in traffic behind the accident, and he overreacted.

And then he was on the block.

There was no traffic.

There was one car, a tree, an ambulance, a helicopter, and 5 cop cars.

It was Tina's car.

"Sir you can't be here right now we have had an accident and the victim needs to be airlifted to the hospital so you need to leave now."

"Sir that's my girlfriend, she never came home so I went to go see if he car broke down or something. That's my girlfriend. What happened?"

"I'm sorry I didn't know. Well it was a hit and run type of thing, a car was speeding possibly drunk, and hit your girlfriends car, and she hit the tree and then he drove off." " will she be okay?" "Being completely honest, I really don't know. But you can take the helicopter with them to the hospital. Go hurry. Tell them I gave you the okay." "Thank you."

When Mike got to the helicopter, he was able to see how bad of shape Tina was in. She had bones sticking out of her legs, she had huge gashes all over her body that were being stitched as they flew. Her head was wrapped but the blood was seeping through fast, she was so cold and pale. She already looked dead. "She cant die. She wont die."

Mike just kept chanting that to himself as they flew, and the before he knew it, they were landing and she was getting rushed into the operating room. "Sir family only." "I am her boyfriend, she doesn't have any family currently." "Okay then you can stay." With that the nurse ran into the room the just pulled Tina into.

Mike sat in the operating waiting room, for 6 hours before anyone came out. "Tina Cohen Chang?" Mike stood up and ran to the nurse. "Yes?" "Are you the boyfriend?" "Yes how is she?"

"Tina is in critical condition right now, she is in a coma, and we do not know if she will wake up. Frankly it will be a miracle if she does. She had to be revived multiple times on the operating table..." Mike did not here much else of what she said, it felt like his world was crashing down. "Excuse me." "Yes?" "Can I call my cousin? Tina had no family and she lives with her, they are practically sisters. She had no one else, its just us 3 and our few Friends from school." "Sure you can call her and your friends, but only you and the cousin can go to see her." "thank you."

M- Jen come to the hospital right now! I don't know what to do

J- calm down Mike whats going on, Im getting in the car, but what's going on?

M- Tina got in a car accident and she is not okay, and I need you to get here right now. I have to call the glee club, bye

Ms- hey Mike class started like 20 minutes ago where are you and Tina?

M- Mr. Schue please come to the hospital right now and bring the glee club I will explain when you get here.

30 Minutes Later

"Mike? Mike? Hello?"  Mike was snapped back into reality by Jenna waving her hand in front of his face and screaming.

"Sorry Jen, I was just thinking." "About Tina?" "Jen what if she dies? What am I supposed to do? I love her so much. I don't know what to do- Oh shoot. I have to call Artie."
