Chat's POV

I slowly open my eyes, realizing that it's morning. I glance down to see Mari fast asleep. Oh my gosh, is she adorable when she's sleeping!

But reality hits me when I see she's laying beside me with her head on my chest. I carefully pull away from her, trying not to wake her up.

I guess she fell asleep on me last night. I shouldn't have been so sudden with her. I totally forgot that the ocean was freezing, I thought to myself.

I snapped outta thought when I heard her stir.

But it wasn't pleasant.

"No, no please... don't hurt me..."

She was having a nightmare.

But then she screamed, "I DIDN'T MEAN TO!"

What in the world...?

"I didn't mean to hurt anyone! I was 5 for crying out loud," she mumbled.

"NO, NO, PLEASE STOP!!"

OK, now it's gone to far.

I shook her. "Princess, princess! It's ok!"

She wasn't even stirring.

"Please... stop," she trailed of weakly.

Then I remembered something.
I thought, Last night when I put my arms around her to keep her warm, she stopped shivering and calmed down. Maybe that'll work this time...?

I wrapped my arms around her, trying to soothe her.
"Shh, it's ok..."

Her eyes shot open. Her forehead had a little sweat on it. Her face was more pale than usual. I guess it was as bad as it sounded...

"You ok, Mari? You were having nightmare."

"Y-yeah I'm fine."

"Ya sure ya don't wanna talk about it?"

She nodded.

I sighed. I guess I'll let it slide for now. I have more important matters to get to right now.

I walked up the steps and onto the deck. I was greeted by my crew.
"Mornin' cap'n," they said simultaneously.

"Mornin' ya scalawags! How's the ship?"

"We fixed her up with some extra supplies so she's alright for now," Nino said.

I nodded.

"Umm... Chat? When are we gonna get to the Leviathon's Sea," Marinette said from behind me.

"Soon, princess."

"And what're we gonna do when we get there? Be swallowed by the Leviathon?"

I smirked.

"Yep."

She paled (even more than she was earlier). "W- wait, what?!"

"Don't worry purrincess, I was kidding. But if you're scared you can always hold-"

"Don't. Even. Say it," She cut me off.

I chuckled.
"Anyways, we'll be there in at least 2 hours. That'll give us enough time to prepare for that oversized fish."

Marinette sighed. "You have no idea what that thing is capable of..."

"And it has no idea what I'm capable of."

She scoffed. "What? Keeping your ego at an all time high?"

"Ha, ha, very funny," I deadpanned. I then smirked mischievously. "Actually, I can do something much more scary..."
I leaned in close to her.

That seemed to get her attention.

She blushed and pushed me away by pressing her fingers to my nose. "J- just shut up."

I laughed a little. She is so cute when she gets flustered.

2 hours later...

Marinette's POV

I was sitting on deck, enjoying the view when I noticed something different about my surroundings.

I walked over to the railing and peered over it to see never ending, pitch black water. The normally calm waves were starting to dance roughly, rocking the ship back and forth more than usual. In the distance I could see something bubbling, and heading towards the ship.

All of a sudden there was this low, eerie moan coming from the black depths of the sea. The sound was ringing in my ears, hauntingly merging into my memories. It was getting louder and louder. As it got louder, those weird bubbles came closer to the ship.

Then, just about as it was seemingly about to collide with the ship, the sound stopped. It was dead silent for what seemed like hours.

No one spoke in fear of causing that sound to come back again. Me, Chat, and the crew all looked at each other with fear and suspense.

But then, without warning, a absolutely humongous creature arose from the water. I would say it was about 60 to 100 feet long!

It had violent red, orange, green, and pink scales. It's eyes were those of a demon's; a truly demonic deep red color.

It was the Leviathon.

It looked down at us, its head like 30 feet above us.

Smoke started to come out of its nostrils. I forgot that that thing can breathe fire....

"Hey there, Mr. Leviathon! Wanna play?" Chat hollered.

Just then it lunged down to swallow him whole. I did the first thing my mind said to do...

"STOP!!"

The Leviathon stopped at looked at me, its eyes full of rage.

Chat looked at me mouthing, "What do you think your doing?!"

I gave him a look of reassurance, and then turned back to face the sea monster.

"Why are you so angry?"

It continued to stare at me.

"I know, I'm sorry. We come into your home uninvited. Yes, that was rude. But we just need to get somewhere and this way is the only way to it. So can you just let us pass by? I promise we'll never bother you again," I said sympathetically.

It suddenly moved its giant head mere feet away from mine. I could smell its hot, smokey breath. I could also sense it's raging aura eminating from its core.

I slowly moved my hand to touch the Leviathon's snout. I could sense it calm down, so I started petting it.

The Leviathon seemed to love it.

"So does this mean we can pass through?"

It gave me a look that said "Yes."

"Thank you."

And then it took its giant head, turned around, and vanished into the sea. In my peripheral vision I could sea the sea turn back to its friendly blue stature. The ocean also calmed down, along with the ship's ever so sickening rocking.

"What.... how did you d- do that?" Chat said, to amazed of what just happened.

I shrugged. "I guess I just have that charm, ya know?"

Chat continued to stare at me.

"Are we gonna head towards our destination or just sit here and rot?"

He snapped out of his stare and said, "Uhhh... right. Set sail, men!"

And they snapped out of their stares as well and got to work.
