Doing Something Sweet

Jughead felt hands slide from his torso all the way down to his hips. The strong hands turned him around like a mad man. All of a sudden he was facing Archie Andrews.

Only the cutest boy in school. Or known to him babe. They were together. Mostly known as the school power couple. Who could blame them. They were probably the cutest couple around. In fact they knew they were the cutest couple.

Partially because Archie did stuff like this in public. It was such a sweet thing to do everyone usally gushed over them. Everyone was surprised to find captain of the football team bisexual and Jughead asexual, but the shock wore off in about a week.

What did shock them was that they were dating. Two best friends dating. This came as a major surprise. Nobody had expected the athletic Archie Andrews to even be caught dead, let alone date the loner that was known as Jughead Jones. 

Then of course as everything else in this school. The hype and everything went down over time, and eventually disappeared completely. It became normal to see the jock and lone wolf sitting next to each other. Usally with an arm around the beanie clad boy.

Nobody would ever stop shipping them together though. No matter what Jarchie would be real. Or so Veronica said everyday. Not to fail even if she was sick. A quick text or call on the weekends that always read. Jarchie for life.

Then after a while Beronica became real too. The red head would always mock Veronica by saying Beronica for life. Everyone would laugh. They were probably too cute for this world, but always insisted that Jarchie was better.

Nothing would beat the double dates, stargazing nights, or sipping lemonade in the warm summer breeze, the late night texts, the early morning kisses, even the constant chatter  surrounding them in the halls.

Nothing would beat the two boys sitting alone on the couch watching scary movies, and spouting random jokes pooping into their heads.
