as i'm flipping channels matt walks into my room and the smell of pizza came with.

"here with the pizza!" he says as he jumps on my bed and lays next to me.
"yay!" i say clapping my hands like a child.
"pepperoni, just like you love." he says as he opens the box.
"ugh you're the best!" i say, grabbing a slice.
"what took you so long?" she says flipping channels.
"i just saw a few people there." i say, giving a white lie.

"hey, um rosie. can i tell yo-"
she interrupted me,"oh my god! can we watch Greys Anatomy?"

i nod and smile at her...how cute.

"i'm sorry, what were you saying?" she asked.
"oh nothing, just wanted to let you know you look pretty today." i lie, but i meant it. she looks pretty all the time.
"thank you." she smiles.

i can't tell her what cameron's doing, look how happy she is right now. i guess there has to be a better time for me to tell her.

as we were sat in silence, my phone buzzed.

"who's that?" she asks after i pull out my phone.
"just my mom." i lie, what the fuck is up with me and lying to her all of a sudden?

it was cameron.

haha don't even try to tell her, also don't hit on my fucking girl..that's my job. be careful.

i clench my jaw and fists. it's not a job to tell people they look good, but to him it is. to him everything is a stupid game and i'm sick of it.

also how the fuck does this dickhead know i was about to tell her? he's on some trippy shit by spying on us. i sigh as i rest my head on the wall, this is gonna be something that's gonna do my head in.

hours pass and i just wanna shout and slap myself. how did i just lie to her?

"fucking hell." i murmur to myself.

i kick a rock along the pavement as i just ponder and loiter on the fact that i didn't tell her..or that i can't. what a piece of shit i am. she loves that boy and it would absolutely kill her if she knows what he's doing.

but it'll also kill her if she finds out her best friend is lying to her. she can't loose two people at once, she needs me. but i can't tell her without her hating me, it's as simple as that.

it's as simple as killing two birds with one stone.
