"Whats wrong? Your shoe game is strong, no need to look at your shoes and have that look" you tried to make a joke. He just slightly smiled but it sprung back to a frown.

"I don't want to be your best friend. Y/n, I have feelings for you. Feelings a friend shouldn't be feeling for their best friend." he explained.

"Oh."

--

"I know. I'm sorry that I just sprung this on you. But I mean, you couldn't have possibly thought I didn't have feelings for you." Corbyn scoffed, you took a step back and looked down at his shoes. Your face hard to read any emotion.

"Oh"

"Can you say anything other than 'oh'? I just told you I have feelings for you!" Corbyn whisper-shouted to you. You looked up to look into his eyes. Tears forming.

"I don't-" you stuttered to find the right words but this took by surprise. You really didn't know how to respond. Do you tell him you've had feelings for him since they've been friends or do you tell him, he deserves someone better than you?

"You don't feel the same way... Okay." Corbyn said, a frown on his lips. He backed away and walked upstairs to his bedroom.

You sighed, fighting that gut feeling that is telling you to go after him. His head hung low as he walked up, he walked by all these guests not looking back up until he got to his bedroom. He fell face first onto the bed. He cried into his pillow. He felt so embarrassed and angry with himself. He had such hope that you would say you felt the same way.

Knock, knock

Corbyn lifted his head from the pillow when he heard someone at the door. He wiped his tears, walking over to the door. When he pulled the door opened and saw you, he immediately wanted to close the door again, but your sad eyes and the small frown on your lips made him keep the door open.

"I'm sorry, Corbyn, that I couldn't think of the right words at the time you told me what you told me. My mind went blank. It's not that I don't love you- 'cause trust me, Corbyn, I do love you- it's that, you deserve someone better than me. I'm a complete mess and you know that. After Gabe, I was a complete emotional mess. I wasn't myself, you were the one that made me realize that too. So don't you ever think that I don't love you because I do, I do love you. I love you more than I love myself." You spoke with tears falling down your face, and your voice getting caught in your throat but you pushed through, wanting nothing more than to finish your speech and have the ball in his court.

Corbyn had tears coming down his face once again hearing you say the words he wanted to hear downstairs, that you love him back. He looked at you and all he wanted to do was grab your face and kiss. And that what he did. When you finished with your speech he grabbed the sides of your face, leaned down and brought your lips to his. You were surprised when he kissed you but after a millisecond, you began to kiss him back. You pulled away, in need of something called air. You looked up to Corbyns emerald green eyes, tears no longer falling down his face. You wiped his cheeks, as he did to you.

"You have no idea how long I've been wishing for this moment." You said laughing, Corbyn pulling you into a hug. He was so happy that you finally knew of his feelings and that you felt teh same way.

"God, I love you." He mumbled into your hair.

"I love you too." Your voiced muffled into his chest.
