Short

This is a human AU, but I'm just using my head cannon heights, since I haven't finished working on their looks. Enjoy!

"You're so short." Roman smiled happily, looking down at his adorably emo boyfriend, who's head was barely even up to his shoulder.

"I, wha-... Short?!" Virgil exclaimed, moving his head away from where it had been nuzzled against Roman's chest. His eyes snapped up to look into the taller boy's, face tinted a reddish pink that made Roman want to just want to kiss his cute little cheeks. The ones on his face, of course...

"Well, you know what my church used to say?" Virgil continued, a small smile barely showing on his lips.

"Hm? Wha-... Wait-?" A confused look suddenly overtook Roman's amused expression, but he was interrupted before he could question anything.

"God only lets thing grow until they're perfect. And some people took less time than others." His smile had now turned to a smirk, and he secretly enjoyed the overly confused expression on his tall boyfriend's face. "Hey, that might explain why you're such a bloody giant!"

"You go to church?" Roman suddenly blurted out, ignoring the insult, since he knew he didn't mean it.

"Used to." He corrected "My parents made me go for years till I moved out."

Roman pulled a face at the mention of the shorter ones parents "And you made a great choice." He wrapped his arms around his waist, pulling him back to his chest and kissing the top of his head.

Virgil gladly accepted the chance to get off of that topic, and snuggled his head into Roman's chest again, smiling softly.

It was comfortably silent for a moment, the two just standing and leaning into each other, before Roman spoke up again.

"Have I told you that you're absolutely amazing? Because you are... I love you, Virge." His voice was barely above a whisper, but it was enough, and, with a hidden grin, Virgil turned his head enough that his words could be heard and whispered back to him.

"Love you too, you dork."

Ehhhh... Do you guys like this? It's a lot shorter than what I normally write but it's kind of just been sitting around so I just wrote a decent ending quickly so I can give you guys something to read... Yeah, hope you liked it, have a good day, or night, or whatever time it is for you. Sorry if there are any spelling mistakes, I'm pretty sure I'm ended up writing this completely on my iPod.
