Another hour had passed and I haven't dared to open the box. I didn't even now if I was awake. I never know anymore. What's the worse thing that can happen..?
I sighed and listened as I opened the box with a loud click. It sent shivers across my back. I carefully lifted the top of the box. Inside was a beautiful glass heart. Inside was a strange red liquid. Blood..? Nah it can't be...
The glass of the heat was so thin and honestly the heart was small enough to fit in the center of my palm.
I checked inside the box to see a wire-thick silver thread. Further inspection showed that it was attached to the heart. A necklace! I easily slipped it over my head and adjusted it to fit me so it wouldn't fall off. I smiled softly to myself and continued to stay awake.

It was 7:35 and I could hear Galen outside my door talking to another nurse. I fiddled with the tube injecting pain killers into me. I guess that may be why I don't feel any pain.
"Hello Chris, I don't believe we have properly met. I am Doctor Galen." I smiled and waved.
"I just have a few questions for you and than I will see if we can get you out of her. Okay?"
   "Yeah, ask away Doc."
She smiled and flipped through her papers.
"Have you ever had an incident similar to this and what happened?"
   I sighed.
"I-I have collapsed unconscious a few times... but this time I didn't even know I had gone to the store to begin with."
She wrote everything I said down and continued to look through her work.
"Some witnesses said before you collapsed that you were mumbling 'sword' to yourself. Any idea what that could mean?"
I flinched before shaking my head. They'd think I was crazy if I told them. She seemed to take notice of my little flinch.
"I'm just gonna check your soul to make sure it is in healthy condition." I nodded and summoned my soul. She took note of the way it's aura seemed to spiral, the color, the specks of white sparking here and there.
"Okay, oh and I'll be sending your brother in. He's been waiting to see you since we opened.
What? It's 7:43. This place opened like 2 1/2 hours ago...
I listened closely as she walked away. Soon I heard quiet footsteps heading my way.
"Hey bro. Did you sleep well here?" Derek asked as he stepped in, closing my door.
"If by well you mean not at all than yes." He gave me a curious look.
"Where'd you get that?" He pointed at my necklace. Wait it's still here..? It wasn't a dream? I simply shrugged but my response wasn't mine... I just found it.
"The girl in white gave it to me" That wasn't my voice... it sounded like the girl that said 'Hello in there' last night.
Luckily Derek simply nodded and said he was gonna get some Chinese take outs so I don't have eat the 'icky food' as I once called it when I was little. I let out a silent smirk. I then noticed that Derek had left his jacket. He had a jacket... oh well it's mine now! I sat up and reached for his jacket. I lied back down and cuddled with it. I felt so calm, so at peace, so... sleepy...

   "Sleep tight, my little creation~"
