   It had been about three hours of traveling on the foreign terrain. Luckily there weren't any mountains. We were already down to our last 4 berries.
   "Ugh are we there yet?" I glared at Starr.
   "Care to tell me where you think 'there' is?"
   "Geez no need to be rude..." Rude? I'm not being rude!
   "Ugh I'm so hungry..." I than watched half in awe half in anger as Maddie summoned a blueberry bush.
    "Maddie... if you could do that" I had to pause for a breath. Trying to comprehend why she hadn't done that sooner.
    "Why didn't you do that from the beginning?" She looked at me dumbfounded.
    "... I forgot?"
    "Forgot?!" I grabbed Starr in attempt to calm her.
    "Hey no fighting. No point arguing over it. We've been walking for a while, why don't we take a rest and eat some berries... umm I'll go out and hunt?" Starr gave me doubting look.
    "Fine but be ready for anything." I nodded and took off.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    "Umm if there isn't anything else you wish to know about me than I'll be leaving. To hunt."
    Derek gave them a nervous look.
   "W-will I be safe alone..?" They nodded but handed him a small dagger.
   "But just in case, be ready to fight."
   "Okay... wait fight!?"
   When Derek looked up they were already gone.
   "... o-okay than..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   I had my sword ready in case anyone or anything tries to come at me. Okay stay calm... what's the worst that can happen..?
   "O-okay... I'll be okay... just alone, in a small forest. Alone!" Ugh why am I so sca-
   Snap!
   My attention turned to where the noise came from. ... Well I'm not going to ask 'who's there?'
   In a split second I felt pain shoot through me. I looked to see an unknown, yet sharp, weapon had hit me in the leg. My vision blurred and I started crying for help. I felt hot and my blurred vision was overwhelming with a dancing red and orange flame.
   It's so hot... my skin hurts and my throat is to dry.
   I could smell some of my blood that had been left behind my limping step burn up. It was an odd smell.
   I let out a sharp gasp as I felt the weapon, a spear, move. Cutting my more of my flesh. I felt myself hit the hard, hot ground as the flames got closer. Unable to stand the heat I slipped into unconsciousness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   Derek panicked as he saw the large flaming demon approach him. He held the dagger, as if to seem threatening.
   "Who can save you know~?"
   "I can!"
   Derek was overwhelmed to hear the safe voice. He quickly ran and hid behind them.
   "Oh how odd..."
   "Now sorry to cut such a nice first dance short but we have to go." And with a bright flash they teleported away. Only to be greeted by the smell of a nearby fire.
