Calypso woke up thinking about only one thing. Or more like someone.Leo Valdez.
Ever since they met yesterday, he was always somewhere in her mind. She could be thinking about going to the bathroom and suddenly Leo Valdez was in her mind. It's not she liked him, no, she was quite sure that wasn't it, but something about him intrigued her.
After she got ready, she went to go find Reyna, which has invited her to eat with her friends again. Calypso was happy she had friends, she was scared that everyone would avoid her for who her father was, but it seems that these kids have gone through a lot that they don't care who she was. Which Calypso was fine with.
She eventually made it to the cafeteria and saw Reyna sitting with their rest of her friends. After grabbing her breakfast, which did not look promising at all, she sat down next to Will and joined in the conversation.
"I just don't get it, everything was perfect before this summer and then we just started drifting apart. Everything we did together was awkward, including last night's dinner" Reyna seemed to be ranting about her date last night with Jason.
"Was it not what you were expecting?" asked Calypso after she understood the situation. Reyna shook her head.
"It's not that, everything was beautiful and very well planned but..." she looked back to where Jason was, Calypso realized that he was with Leo and the same other girl from yesterday, who put her hand on Leo's shoulder as if to hold her up from laughing to much because of a joke.
No more Leo, Calypso!
Calypso forced herself to listen to Reyna.
"But it feels as if there isn't a spark anymore...maybe it's time we broke up" Reyna sighed as she played with her plate of gray mash potatoes. Calypso saw how broken-hearted was Reyna at the situation that she wished there was something she could do, but she barely knew Reyna, let alone Jason. But it seems Nico had everything covered.
"Maybe it's not you. How about you plan the date this time, and if that doesn't work out than break up with him" Nico suggested. Calypso wouldn't have voiced it that way, but she could tell where Nico was coming from and it was a good idea. Will looked at Nico with widen eyes.
"Since when were you a master in relationships?" He asked. Nico shrugged.
"Just because I haven't been in a relationship, doesn't mean I can't give advice" Nico stated. Hazel nodded her head in agreement.
"Yeah, Nico gave me advice to when I was going to confess to Frank my feelings. And now we're going on our first date!" Hazel squealed while Calypso hit her shoulder to get her attention. Calypso coughed and pointed towards Reyna. Hazel's eyes widen. "Sorry, Reyna" Hazel said.
"No, it's okay, you should be happy Hazel, and Nico, you're right. I'm going to ask him right now" Reyna than stood up. Calypso grabbed her hand (without even realizing what she was doing) before she could go.
"Can I go with?" Calypso asked. Reyna's eyebrows scrunched in confusion but nonetheless said yes.
They walked to the table and sat at their table. Reyna next to Jason while Calypso had to sit next to the other girl because she was sat next to Leo and his seat was at the end of the table so there were no more seats on the other side of him. While Reyna was talking with Jason, the girl turned to Calypso.
