Part 10: Sousuke and Momo

~months later~

[Name]'s POV

The flakes of snow land on my face and melt away leaving a tingling sensation behind on my [S/T] skin. "Why is it snowy in spring?" I pout while staring at my breath in the air. My phone buzzes in my jacket pocket and I pull it out to see a text from Rei.

Rei- Are you on your way?

             Yeah I'll be there in a few minutes- Me

I tuck my phone away before walking down the path from my house to the train station. My combat boots leave tracks in the snow and I smile when I see Rei, Haru, Nagisa, and Makoto waiting by a bench. "Hey guys sorry I'm late," I smile and they turn and face me. "It's alright [N/N], now come on let's get to Samezuka Academy!" Nagisa grins and a few minutes later the train arrives at the station. We all get on and sit down in the seats "It's hard to believe that Seijuro graduates today," I whisper with a small pout. "I just hope he doesn't kiss you again," Makoto mutters and the guys grumble and nod their heads in agreement.

"Oi! If you guys are already going to be jealous I'm not going to be happy," a dark aura surrounds me and they freeze up. "W-we understand!" Nagisa exclaims and I give them a close-eyed smile. "Good," I chirp and they anime fall. "Talk about a mood swing," Rei mumbles and my eye twitches. "Come again Rei~" I purr evilly and he gulps. The blue-haired male doesn't respond and I smirk victoriously "That's what I thought," I hum before looking out the window while the guys sweatdrop.

Seijuro pops above water and cheers in victory. "This looks like a death battle," Makoto sweatdrops and Nagisa's eyes widen. "What kind of race was that?!" he asks excitedly. "A 100-meter race, 100 times. It's a Samezuka tradition to continue until someone beats the captain," we all turn to see Rin beside us. "Rin," Haru and I state and he smirks. "Thanks for coming you guys especially you [Name]," he winks at me and the guys glare at him. "Hey wait a second, did you say a 100-meter race, 100 times?" I ask and he nods his head.

"So 200 laps...I want to swim it," I grin and my eyes sparkle. "But 100-meters, 100 times is logically impossible," Rei rubs his chin and I shake my head. "Noooooo, I mean it's 10,000 meters but it's not impossible. It just takes major amounts of stamina which most humans don't have," I sweatdrop while the others deadpan. "Hey you guys are here! What do you say a 400-meter freestyle medley relay, Iwatobi versus Samezuka!" Seijuro grins and wraps an arm around my waist. A pout comes to my face and I look up at him "But that means I don't get to race Sei," I tell him and he blushes.

"Please don't make that face [Name]," he grits his teeth and looks away as his face becomes redder. "Anyways we can race after [Name], didn't you say you wanted to do the 100-meter, 100 times?" he smirks and I grin, nodding my head rapidly. "Good now let me race your team," he chuckles and lets me go before telling Rin that he's swimming. Nitori also decides to swim, along with someone else while my team goes and changes into their swimsuits, minus Rei who had to borrow one. Makoto and the unknown Samezuka swimmer are up first and they dive in, Makoto taking the lead.

"Good luck Ai!" Nagisa snaps his fingers with a smiles and when Makoto makes it back to the wall, Nagisa dives into the pool. Nitori' eyes widen and he dives into the pool once the first swimmer is back. 'Rei and Seijuro are up next' I watch the race closely and once Nagisa is back, Rei is in the pool swimming butterfly. "Interesting! I'll just have to swim butterfly too!" Sei announces and dives into the pool, closing the gap between him and Rei. 'Damn Rei's goggles are slipping again' I realize and glance at Haru and Rin who step up to the starting block.

Seijuro makes it back to the wall first and Rin dives in while Haru gets ready to swim. Rei touches the wall and Haru is in the pool already catching up to Rin. 'Though Haru is a fast swimmer Rin will win since he was in the pool first' I smile sadly and Rin touches the wall first. "We were so close!" Nagisa and Rei cry out and Seijuro walks over to me. "So that race [Name]?" he smirks and I give him a wide grin. "Hell yeah!" I cheer while throwing on my goggles and swim cap. "No one has beat me in this race yet so good luck, you'll need it," the red-haired captain chuckles and we get ready on the starting block.
