Part 4: First Day of Practice

[Name]'s POV

"[NAME]!" I spin on my heel just in time to be glomped by Nagisa making us both fall to the ground. "Hey Nagisa," I chuckle as he straddles me. "You're still single right?!" he asks with hopeful eyes making me sweatdrop. "Yes I'm still single Nagisa," I giggle and he lets out a sigh of relief. "N-Nagisa what are you doing to [Name]?" Makoto walks outside with Haru beside him. "Finding out if she was still single," the blonde cries out catching my other two friends attention. "Wait are you dating-" Makoto starts and I shake my head "No I'm not dating anyone. I only went on a date with Seijuro last night, which at the very end was interrupted by Rin and Ai," I facepalm while Haru's eyes widen.

"So Rin also..." he trails off towards the end not allowing me to hear the rest of his sentence. "Rin interrupted your date?" Makoto asks and I sigh with a small chuckle. "Yeah it was weirdest ending to a date I've ever had," I mutter and the guys heads snap in my direction. "You've been on other dates?!" Nagisa and Makoto freak out while Haru's eyes darken. "Yes I have! Is that a surprise? Am I not allowed to go on dates?" I huff and the guys tense up. "That's not what we meant [Name]," Haru states calmly, his ocean blue eyes boring into me.

"Why are you yelling [N/N]?" Rei casually walks over to us and my head snaps in his direction. "A slight mishap because they're jealous I went on a date," I jut my thumb behind me at the other guys. "You went on a date?" Rei murmurs, pushing his glasses up on his face. "Not you too..." I trail off and throw my head back with a loud groan "I'm still single if that's what you're curious about," I tell Rei who seems relieved by my answer. "Rei, you showed up!" Nagisa grins and my blue-haired friend sighs in annoyance.

"I have decided that I will participate in your joint practice but as a trial member," he starts and Nagisa's eyes glimmer. "Really?!" the blonde asks with a grin and I narrow my eyes at Rei. "But only on one condition," my childhood friend states. "It better not be a date with [Name]," Haru mutters but I still hear him. "I won't do any swimming," Rei states and I anime fall, taking Makoto down with me. "B-but-" I start and Rei holds up his hand. "Butts are for sitting on [Name]," he smirks down at me and I gawk "Hey! Don't use my own words against me," I pout and cross my arms over my chest.

"At least we have another member," Makoto sweatdrops and blushes once he realizes I'm sitting on him. "I suppose so and that means..." I trail off, my pout turning into a smile. "We can swim," Haru states bluntly, a small smirk on his face. "Then let's go find Gou and head over to Samezuka!" I announce, hopping off Makoto and dashing off to find my burgundy-haired friend.

"I get to train, I get to train!" I do a small dance in the locker room while Gou sweatdrops. "Are you ready to head out there [Name]?" she smiles and I nod my head, slipping my goggles over my head so they lay around my neck. "I wonder what the guys are doing?" I mumble and we walk out of the locker room to be greeted by tension thick enough to be cut with a knife. "What the-" I start but glance over to the side to see Seijuro, Makoto, Nagisa, Haru, and Rei staring each other down. "Seriously guys," I sweatdrop while Gou ogles over the guys bodies.

"Listen if you guys are going to act this way then I don't see the point in even coming here," I state walking over to my friends with a sharp look. The guys turn their attention towards me and blush "[N-Name]," Makoto stutters as I join their side. "Either you all get your act together or we won't be having any more joint practices," I tell them and they gulp and nod their heads. "Good you understand," I smirk before looking at Seijuro. "Thank you again for letting us use your pool," I smile staring into his gold eyes. "A-anytime [Name]," he blushes with a smirk before looking at Haru.

"Haru Nanase. You've won a fair amount of tournaments when you were in grade school," Seijuro starts and I feel someone tap my back. "Hello [Name]! It's nice to see you again," Aiichirō blushes with a smile. "Ah hey Ai! Nice to see you too," I smile cheerfully while slinging one of my arms around his neck. "You seem excited [Name]," Ai points out with a small laugh as I bounce on my heels. "That's because I get to practice," I grin when a familiar voice hits my ears. "[Name], you look sexy," Rin smirks and everyone stops talking and turns their attention to him. I deadpan and stare at the shark-like male "Thanks for announcing that to the world Rin," I mutter while Gou starts squealing beside me.
