[Name]'s POV

"REGIONALS ARE NEXT WEEK AND I'M NOT READY!!" I pull on my hair while anime crying. "Your times have never been better, what do you mean you're not ready?" Gou asks while the guys continue to practice their exchange. "I'm just not ready," I tell her and she sweatdrops. "I see you all are still here," I whip around to see the counselor and principal. "W-we were jut going to leave principal-" Miss Ama starts but he cuts her off. "It's fine, don't worry about it," the counselor waves her off and the principal looks at Haru and I. "More importantly, Mr. Nanase and Miss [L/Name], we have heard about the scouts contacting you both and we're very impressed. You two are the pride of our school and we're all looking forward to your performances at regionals. Give it your all you two!" the principal smiles at us.

"I always do," I chuckle while pulling myself out of the pool. Haru nods his head to the principal before the two adults walk off back to the school. "We'll wrap practice up here, it's late and everyone should be heading home," I tell my team while helping the stoic male out of the pool. "We've definitely made some improvements," Makoto smiles and I nod my head in agreement. "I should be heading off, see you all tomorrow," I send a wave to my team before walking off with only my jacket covering my swimsuit.

I saunter along the streets that lead to my house when I hear the repetitive sound of a ball hitting pavement. I look over to the basketball court to see Kisumi shooting hoops only wearing a pair of basketball shorts and shoes. "Hey Kisumi," I smile and wave while entering the court. He turns around and grins "[Name]! What are you doing here?" he asks while setting the ball down and taking a drink from his water bottle. "I was walking home then saw you so I stopped by to say hi," I chuckle and he uses his shirt to wipe the beads of sweat off his forehead. "I'm glad you did!" he grins and goes to wrap an arm around my shoulders but I quickly dodge "You're all sweaty."

He sweatdrops at my statement before smirking "And you smell of chlorine," he points out and I chuckle. "Seems we both need a shower," I snap my fingers and he licks his lips. "We could shower together," he suggests with a flirtatious wink. "No," I tell him and his face falls. "You want to come to my house, we can hang out there and you can get a shower," I ask and he smiles. "I would love to!" he exclaims and puts his basketball in a drawstring bag before following me out of the court. "So I hear that your regionals are next week," he grins and slings his arm around my shoulder. "That they are," I sigh while leaning into his side unconsciously.

"I'm going to come and cheer you on, I'll bring Hayato too," he tells me and a faint smile graces my face. "That would be nice," I hum and we walk onto the street that leads to my house. "How has Hayato been doing?" I ask and Kisumi sighs with a soft smile. "Better. He's not scared of the water anymore and he's been working on swimming a lot lately. Backstroke is his favorite though," the pink-haired male tells me while I unlock the front door and step inside. "Ah! You're home and with a guy~" I sigh as my mother peeks around the corner and wiggles her eyebrows.

"Hello Mrs. [L/Name], I'm Kisumi Shigino," Kisumi bows and my mother grins at me. "No mom, I'm not dating him," I facepalm and her face falls. "Whatever you say [Name] but just remember to use a con-" she starts and I let out a high-pitched squeak. "MOTHER STOP IT!" I screech and she laughs before walking away. "Fuck me," I mutter to myself when I'm suddenly caged against the wall by Kisumi. "If that's what you wanted, all you had to do was ask," he smirks at me, his purple eyes now a few shades darker. I give him a confused look before sighing heavily "That is not what I meant at all," I grumble while avoiding eye contact with him.

"I'm just teasing you," he chuckles and backs off me while I shoot a half-hearted glare at him. "Ha ha Kisumi. Now if you want to take a shower the bathroom is upstairs, second door on your right. I'll get my shower in my bathroom, my bedroom is the first door on your left when you walk up the stairs," I tell him before running up the steps, two at a time. He chuckles and follows me upstairs, we split up at the top and I enter my bedroom, grabbing my towel I head into the bathroom and strip out of my clothes. I turn the shower on before stepping in and letting the water beat down against my skin "How refreshing..."
