"I can't believe you are dating a jock." Meha tried to hide her astonishment at Bianca's new found revelation.

"Well... it was not a big thing." Bianca shrugged and dodged an oncoming waiter while making her way to the pastry display.

Meha froze in her place bewildered at Bianca's response. How could her sister be so calm and collected after revealing a fact about her life that was a secret for past three days? "Why did you hide this from me?"

"Oh c'mon Meha what did you expect me to say? Hi Meha I'm back here after fifteen years and I have a boyfriend who happens to be a soccer player?" Bianca acted out in the sassiest manner she could muster.

Meha rolled her eyes at her sister's sad attempt at acting. She followed her sister towards the pastry shelf and examined the colorful display of sweet delicious heaven. Bianca had always had the sweet tooth. She would prefer a big chocolate pie over a Subway any day. Meha had known her sister through and through but then after the big gap of fifteen years it seemed like she had a lot of catching up to do. Meha remembered Bianca as the quiet, shy and conservative kind of girl. In her early years Bianca preferred staying indoors and watching television all day instead of roaming and meeting new people. But now Bianca revealed that she has a boyfriend from past three years. How can Meha not be shocked?

Glancing at the strawberry cheesecake, Meha tried to get to know this 'jock' more. "So... who is this boyfriend of yours?"

"His name's Derek. Derek Walker." Bianca accepted the raspberry tart from the girl behind the counter.

"Australian?"

"Yep."

"Is he hot?"

"I'm pretty sure he is." Bianca winked at Meha and handed her the cheesecake.

"Thanks," Meha dug into her sweet treat, "So how are you both planning to maintain this long distance relationship?" She couldn't stress enough on the word long. Meha felt like such a bugger asking her sister questions like she was her mother. Meha personally hated it when people tried to get information out of her. She had once yelled at her cousin brother when he had asked her something as trivial as what her friends were like in school. Meha had gone all bazookas on him when he had asked more than five questions.

"Long distance relationship?" Bianca asked like Meha had said the worst cuss word in the history of mankind. Meha also noted that at that moment her sweet sister sounded so very Australian. "Who said we are going to be in a long distance relationship?"

"You guys broke up?"

"No silly!" Bianca swatted her hand at her sister playfully. "God forbid if that was to happen. He moved to US too this year. He's in UCLA and is majoring in athletics. Derek had always dreamed of bagging an admission in UCLA and I'm so proud he did." The pride in Bianca's eyes was indeed evident. She looked happy while even talking about him. "I'll make sure you meet him one day. You'll love him Meha. He is such a sweetheart."

Meha nodded and paid at the cash counter. She loved the cheesecake and would have loved to get another but she decided against it. She had a party to attend tonight and she was in no way going to put on extra pounds. Above all she had to buy a pretty dress for tonight and that was the sole reason she was out here with Bianca. "Bee you look so in love. I'm happy for you." She genuinely was.

"Thank you Meha. At least you didn't freak out like my mum when she had found out about me and Derek. Her eyes were like big saucers that were going to pop out any minute. I had to literally run to her to make sure she did not collapse on the floor. She was near about hyperventilating. It was not a pretty sight." Bee scrunched her face while reliving the memory.
