I will fear the beast the creeps beneath my bed,
it's clawing at my head.
Watching me with glowing eyes,
I'm running out of tries.
It's got me in its claws,
suddenly I feel the softness of its paws.
My heart is slowing,
my mind is going.I've surrendered to its ways,
I suddenly hope it stays.
What's become of my mind,
why has this beast become so kind?
They tell me I'm slipping,
I've stopped kicking.
I now move as the beast beneath my bed.
All I wish is to be nothing but dead.
